All the points on salesmanship especially doing door to door are extremely true. As someone who’s in a similar field of business as you it takes a long time to get “good” at selling your service and getting told no is initially very hard to deal with but something you NEED to hear.

I have went out 3 times the first time I worked a total of 5 hours knocked 65 doors made $500 the second time knocked 75 doors the day prior and made $1,000 after cleaning them that next day then the 3rd time I knocked 75 doors and got nothing but I made the mistake of being in a trashy neighborhood and I was handing out cards way to soon. Most of us grow up though and quit shoving shit down good people of our own community’s throat. Most of us transition into selling things people actually want rather than forcing sales. I appreciate the mindset you have for sales, but I have to agree with david over here. At the end of the day of course window cleaning is useful, and pushing past a soft "no" is exactly what you have to do when selling a product or service, but there is no need to try and sell a service to someone that clearly states at least 4 -6 times in the span of 3 minutes that they do it themselves and enjoy such activity. Difference between pushing past a soft "no" and just being way too pushy hahaha.
