Make sure your 5.1 surround sound system is set up correctly. Ensure that all speakers and subwoofer are connected, and that your audio receiver is configured for Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound.
NOTE: If you don't see the 5.1 icon your TV is not compatible with 5.1 surround. The setting will only appear on devices that support 5.1 surround sound. 5.1 in KZread is supported on all 2021 and later TVs, Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku and most Fire TV devices. In addition, many 2020 and earlier TVs may also support surround sound - check your device manufacturer to see if your device supports 5.1 for KZread.

Is there any way to watch this in actual 5.1 on KZread, without having to download the video and play it on a desktop player? AFAIK KZread doesn't support 5.1 sound on any platforms.

Hi! 5.1 audio is only supported in the KZread TV App. The desktop player does not have the option to activate it, only the TV app on all 2021 and later TVs, Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku, and most Fire TV devices, as well as Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One X, Xbox One S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 5. I have a Samsung S95B TV, and I can see the option to enable or disable 5.1 in the video.

Ich habe Hamann Kardon ( ehemals GBL) 7.1.4 Dolby Surround. Atmos unterstützt YT nur wenig. Werde vorerst auf Bose umrüsten.
Hello friend how can i download this vídeo in real 5.1 ? My phone is only stereo left and right and all sound is coming in both speakers. Help me to setup right.

if youre using PC and a web browser, forget it. Its purposely disabled.... KZread is sabotaging PC users who use their PCs as media centers. Oly wy o get surround out of you tube is to use a built-in-tv app. It wasnt always this way.... which is what reveals this to not be a technical issue, but rather a business decision on youtube's part.
