@@theeternalnow6506 I think the raid might be borderline unwatchable in 60FPS. It is already such a grueling watching in 24fps(very bloody). A lot of movie stunt work will also become very obvious when you can see every detail(fake punches and stuff like that). I know in this movie they had to hand edit all the stunt work to make it actually look decent in 120fps. When you unblur the details it will make the film much more visceral. I think that's the difference between motion smoothing that TV's produce and this movie. The camera is there to capture ALL the detail and it's not just being interpolated.

@@krithik4673 60fps is suited for gaming, because we control the camera and we're always at the center of the action. Unless they figure out how to light it properly and film it in a way that doesn't accentuate that they're filming in 60fps, 24fps is superior. The only legitimate reason to film in 48 or 60 is to have smoother motion in 3D. But then again all the VFX needs to be beefed up to match the framerate, otherwise everything will look even more fake than it already is. Some say it makes it look too realistic, others complain that it makes everything look to unrealistic/gamey. Personally, besides it being insanely nice actually being able to follow the action (in an ACTION! movie), I think it mainly just exposes how fucking dumb a lot of the scenes really are. Also, people really need to check out a low framerate version of this clip, even with a trash tier framerate it is easy to see how 'unrealistic' these scenes are. Because of the sheer realism, the chase scenes and action scenes really benefited a lot, felt a lot more impactful and real, like it's happening right in front of you. But unfortunately it's like when 1080p was first introduced (4K too). People noticed how many defects and stuff were covered up from regular 480p. Notice how many forms of media that use 60 fps are limited to KZread, gaming, novellas, etc. That's why people associate 60 fps with being off. The reason why 24fps looks more natural and cinematic is the motion blur you get with it. at 24fps and 1/50th shutter speed camera sees things so similar to how our eyes see things. But yes we can see even past 24/60fps and we feel its smoother but it never look natural.

For different reason: 1. the bad HDR to SDR youtube conversion makes the colors looks weird, in a good hdr panel this video looks stunning. 2. The frame rate, Going from 24 to 60 fps can be uncomfortable at first, but when you get used to it things change for good. I think it takes a few years to get a good technique to make movies at 60 fps or more correctly, I don't think this is the future in a short time but it is a nice alternative.
