I didn't know that this was a breakfast dish :O I had this on one of my flights to or from Korea as a "brunch" dish, and it wasn't bad for airplane food, but I have yet to try it in Korea. I would definitely love to try this in the morning since I tend to favor soups in the morning recently.

What a nice video! I love savory food for breakfast. Sweet breakfast foods (pancakes, waffles, pastries) are most popular here in the US, but I would rather have a vegetable and meat soup like yours any day! That looks so good! I usually eat leftovers for breakfast, or I'll make an omelette with a salad. My husband eats SWEET stuff for breakfast like cereal, toast with jam, or pancakes. We're opposites lol

The Korean breakfast is more elaborate than Chinese breakfast. Wonderful.

Great video! Actually, when I visited Seoul, my friend was working at Yonsei University, so I always had a late breakfast there. Guess what? It was Tteokbokki everytime! 😂😂😂😂 Today I‘d rather prefer Oxbone soup!

Korean food is very hearty & healthy & always they eat in large spoon thats what i like. Forget food etiqutte & just drill in

Oxtail soup for breakfast?Nice 👍👍 we usually eat oxtail soup for lunch or dinner. But not often since it's expensive. Whrere I came from, we don't mix rice with soup. Although some regions in my country do mix rice with soup.

Oh, how I miss Seolleongtang... I spent two months in Korea last year, October to November, and I ate so much Seolleongtang. It was cheap, delicious, cozy and I love how I could eat as much kimchi as I wanted at the restaurant. I usually went alone but the ladies there were super kind to me. This is definitively one of the things I miss the most.

This video inspired me to make seolleongtang.. I bought a packet of pre-made bone broth, but I’m not sure how to cook the beef that goes into the soup? Any tips?

I want some. I bought a package of ox bone soup and added some mundo to it. It was sooo delicious. No rice but the mundo was filling.

@@AaronandClaire i go to that Korean market all the time when i want soup and mundo. They are very helpful with questions I have for dishes. I bought a small bowl of abalone porridge and seaweed soup at the market to. I've seen in vlogs I follow of these soups being eaten. I had to try them. Now I have 2 other soups/porridge I can enjoy.

What you said in the beginning if you leave any leftovers you have to eat them all before you die, my mom would tell me something similar when I was a kid!! And this is coming from a Mexican family so it’s crazy that it’s a worldwide thing😂
