Thank you Mikey for unknowingly helping me with choosing what I want for dinner!

Mikey is a truly special person. I'm not that interested in food, and there are 1,000 other people doing about the same thing I wouldn't bother watching. But the 20 minutes I spend with him every few days is always a pleasure. He has a rare quality for displaying sustained joy and optimism that gives you a lift in a world of so much second-rate behavior.

When it comes to Pho, I prefer the Hanoi style. A lot of them are in Yongsan area or in Itaewon.

With the pandemic going around the world right now, watching Mike Chen eating is always make me happy and brighten up my day. Go to Malaysia Mike as Rick is waiting for you! Thank you Mike!

I'm from Nebraska U.S. My Pho journey started in 1979. I use all the beansprouts, a lot of Tai Basil, lime, jalapenos, and equal amounts of Sriracha and Hoisin sauce to get the correct reddish-brown broth that makes me sweat just a little and my nose to run. Spring Rolls and Vietnamese coffee is a must. I LOVE IT!

Pho looks so good. I want some!!

I always appreciate a bit of info about the culture along with the food. Since you like Pho so much, I wish that you had mentioned more about it in that respect- is it traditionally made with certain things, are there "Pho challenge cook-offs", etc?
