I have tried Kettle and Fire, but what I noticed is that if I refrigerate any leftover portion, it does NOT form any gelatinous collagen the next morning which indicates it either does have it or it has been overly diluted with plain water. It is not a concentrated source of these nutrients.

Now that you mention it that is a red flag. Home made stuff is basically jellow once stored overnight.

Hi Dana, Great question! Yes, our Beef Bone Broth has 7g of collagen and our Chicken Bone Broth has 4g of collagen. However, I’d be happy to explain more on why our Bone Broth may not be gelling. We use a proprietary process for extracting the maximum amount of nutrients. This process can adjust the cell structure of the naturally occurring gelatin creating a broth that doesn’t have the same visual gelling but is more dense in actual nutrients. We would rather have more nutrients for our customers than this visual gelling any day! Especially since some other companies will add gelatin into their broth just to create this visual gelling.

I'm still a bit pissed after using their product. I bought the highest dollar stock because i was making a high dollar ingredient soup. After roasting, sauteing, etc., their stock wrecked my efforts. I wish I had tried it first. It was equal to adding salty water.

Making it, talking to your local butcher, or getting at as a supplement tends to be better due to the salt content found in any of these. It's almost equal to a pack of ramen at 740mg of salt! Yes, i understand the benefits of a little salt In things for absorbing but that's way too much. Plus that much salt will make you hungry later.

Kettle and Fire had the weakest tasting stock I've ever had. Similar to dirty water. It was gross. In fact, in their instructions for use, you're supposed to put together a mirepoix in the pan prior to adding the so-called stock well at that point, might as well make your own. 👎👎 for k&f. Bleh.
