I haven't even tried the spinnerbait this year. Squarebill, jackhammer, and jerk bait has been it for me in Michigan.

Once again, great video! I have yet to throw an "A-Rig", but I think Kyle just convinced me to give it a try. I have a heavy rod with 20lbs line I could use. I'm assuming that anywhere is a good spot to throw it. I was originally thinking it would be best around rip/rap and bridges, but any other suggestions? Is there a bad spot to throw it? I guess not around brush or anything you could get caught up in. Thanks!

There is a time and place for the line to be braid but I typically throw it on 20-25 lb fluorocarbon. I have a few videos going over the Alabama rig. It is a fun way to catch bass for sure! You can throw them around brush piles. Throw them down the sides or above the piles. My tip is to drop down the side of your boat, get the time it will sink to certain depths. Then when you cast you have an idea of where it is in the water column. Good luck!

Randy, what type of line and line weight do you prefer when using a glide bait?

He uses,25lb seagar invis x fluorocarbon for his Glidesbaits...personally I use copoly line ,yozuri 25 lb,has a 20lb diameter compared to some others.xxx izorline in 20/25 lb is good also...hope this helps. Google it...lots of good swimbait channels, "Crazy Bass Fisher " Working Class Zero is another.... Swimbait Universe is another...hope this helps

I’ve been killing them on the Mini max chatterbait this fall. They are feeding on smaller bait so I like that downsized profile of the mini.

Typically from me speaking with Matt. He uses a long leader when he is going braid to fluoro for his spinning set ups. - Jimi
