    Right now our fish are getting hammered and there are tons of boats on the water. Being able to skip is key for me. Weightless Texas rigged fluke, like a caffeine shad, a wacky rig, or a neko has been productive for me. My guy Mikey Balzz also hooked me up with the new Gambler Boxer Craw, a very different type of craw that I've been smashing them on.

    Going to French River, Ontario this summer. This is a very realistic swimming baby pike. Will be a great addition to the tackle box.

    Do not give up on it yet! I caught a lot of fish on it this summer on a river system body of water. Water clarity was 1 to 2 ft but these fish have never seen it. It is advertised to fish in your lakes with more clear water and to be thrown on structure such as rock. I was fishing it on shallow shell bars and hopping it slow. Good luck to you - Jimi

    I absolutely hate fishing in May. Simply because I can’t fish for bass where I am in Canada. 😂 Bass closes May 10th until the end of June, so I have to switch to other types of fish throughout May. Pike, walleye, etc.

    @@joeys7519 Here they’re protected during the spawn. They are spawning all the way through May and into June. Water up here is so much colder, so they lag behind most of the US. We have multiple zones where I am. Bass is closed in land, but still open on Lake Ontario until May 10th. They both re-open in June, that is post spawn for us.

    Why would that swim bait work any better than say a jerkbait? They essentially mimic the same thing. Yeah they move a little different but it’s still essentially the same “baitfish”.

  • @BassFishingDeclassified

    @BassFishingDeclassified

    Жыл бұрын

    A swimbait stays moving in the water column. You can slow roll it on the bottom but typically you reel it back to the boat. The jerkbait, you give it action by twitching your rod. You can pause a jerkbait and let it sit in the water for seconds up to ten or thirty seconds if you please. You can continuously jerkbait it back to the boat also.

    Whoever is doing the editing needs to chill. The constant choppy zoom in and out and the head bubbles over random fishing clips is just distracting. I love the videos and all the info just my 2 cents, less is more sometimes try a more finesse approach to the editing.

    @@BassFishingDeclassified I hope so I live next to some lakes that get hit hard by pleasure boaters late may early June and the bass basically shut down on feeding unless you stay on the lake until 1 or 2 in the morning. I live close to 2 lakes that get hit extremely hard. Only way to get them mainly is deep under docks and there are only 4 to 5 docks that you can skip under because all of the rest have chains because people hate fishing people skipping under there docks up here for the most part
