You have to change and adapt with the conditions. That's why learning bass behavior and patterns is so crucial! Being able to predict when and where those bass will be set up trumps junk fishing any day.

Saltwater fishin' is similar, a cold front in Florida makes a huge difference in how the fish bite. It shuts off the bite a lot of times, or the fish move to deeper water. So instead of the flats you go to the canals or channels.

Clearwater lake warming trend all week tomorrow is rain and cooling. Sunday when I am fishing huge drop in temps almost 20 degree drop in air temp.. So I am only fishing moving baits randomly for only a few minutes through the day..

I’ve caught fish very good with moving baits after a front, as long as there is wind.

There are times where they will eat the moving baits well after fronts with wind present.

speaking of cold fronts - we've got a low tonight of around 29 degrees. sigh.

Cold fronts..... I just fire up my FFS and catch'em. First 4 minutes condensed to FFS (fast forward skipping)!

This has been the worst time for me. I’m on a major skunk streak. Started off great in the winter but once the pre spawn and spawn started I can’t catch anything.

I will tell you I had a rough stretch too. Winter was great for me but then March came and I caught a lot of fish but not many big ones. I lost some big fish. I told people I was in a “slump”. Then the last three weeks I have had some great trips. So keep fishing and it will come together! Fishing has the mental side which can get to you. - Jimi.

If there's shad spawn happening fish will still hit moving baits after a front done it plenty of times wind no wind in the fog.👍👍👍👍👍
