Dear Doctor, thank you for all the work you are doing for us. In the process of studying the topic of healthy keto, I noticed what role green vegetables and salads play in the process of alkalizing the body, and from my experience I was convinced that a person feels much better eating fresh vegetables and salads. However, Wikipedia claims that the theory of body alkalinization is not scientific, and moreover, it has been proven false (article “alkaline diet”). Since I am a supporter of your diet and a big fan of vegetables and green salads, I ask you to cite some alternative studies in favor of the fact that food can change the pH of the blood (please like this post so that the doctor sees it and help us to understand this topic).

Blood plasma maintains pH in the tight range of 7.35-7.45. With too much acidic food, body pulls calcium out from bones and teeth to neutralize the acid, thus bone and tooth decays. Alkaline veggies and Potassium Citrate can alkalize your kidneys so no kidney stones(calcium oxalate) can form. Also your urine's pH can be adjusted...

Dr. Berg got in my head lol I am indeed a binge eater and I do have PCOS. I haven't had sugar or tobacco in like a week. I had already gradually cut back on them weeks ago since I'm like an addict. I couldnt risk a mental breakdown over it. But I'm already noticing a big difference. I'm also on a supplement regimen again so I'll add chromium to it. I've lost 5lbs, my autoimmune morning stiffness and pain is reduced, my hair isnt falling out in my hands when I shampoo and its shinier and less brittle. Oh, and my last menstrual cycle actually snuck up on me because I barely felt it coming this time! That's unheard of for me. Mine are typically debilitating. Emotionally and physically. I still need to lose at least 20lbs but this little taste of progress motivates me. 😁🙌

I have a hard time understanding some of your videos because quite a few times you said that insulin is bad. In school, they taught us that your body makes insulin so that your blood sugar doesn't get too high and give you diabetes. Then this guy told me one day that diabetic people are people that no longer produce insulin because that mechanism in their body is dead, but that chromium forces the body to heal itself and make insulin again. I was like, "What has lots of Chromium in it?" He said that cinnamon has lots of Chromium, but that you want to avoid rubarb because of some type of harmful insulin-blocking acid. Can you do a video on the 101 of insulin?

It's not insulin that's bad it's when it's too high in circulation in the blood that's when insulin is bad because it creates fat storage if at storage there's a safe level and then there's too much

I don't know if anyone else has this issue, but I've tested several times over many years, so at least for me it's confirmed. I will always get headaches if I take chromium supplements. Even if I take too many multi-vitamins, which contain chromium, I get headaches. It's a dull thumping in the back of my head, near the base of my skull. Is this a sign of anything? Or what options do I have to get the benefits without the pain?

I have started getting headaches too on a daily basis. I’ve taken chromium 1,000 mcg at every OMAD meal for a few months now but I’m finding out that for women, only 25 mcg is recommended. I also started taking resveratrol about a week ago so maybe that’s where my headaches are coming from. Did you ever find out what the problem was for you?

I have been searching the internet for lower doses myself, he says in this video that Chromium Picolinate is the best form of Chromium. I have found 50 mcg capsules (Universal is the brand) of Chromium Picolinate at Walmart online, I would like to know if this is too much, as there are many warnings about taking too much Chromium. Should I be only taking half a capsule? There is a warning on the label not for people under 18.

I have been feeling very bad lately. Like I will die soon. I take metformin which I don't get along with at all and started taking b12 because the pharmacy sent a note home that metformin depletes b12. Felt a little better. I thought my t2 diabetes started with prednisone. I know one doctor told me I had very high calcium. That would have been after prednisone. Does prednisone raise calcium for some reason? Or did I just not eat enough vegetables through that stage of my life? I found a study that chromium picolinate could possibly reverse t2 diabetes, and ran over here to see what (trusted) dr berg would say. I took 500mg and felt MUCH MORE balanced. One time. So I'm on day 4 now. We'll see how this goes.

I’d like to know this myself! I got my chromium supplement at Walmart and the only dosage i could find was 1,000 mcg but I’m seeing no more than 25 mcg is recommended for women. I’ll say this though…since coming off of keto 3 months I have yet to gain weight! I can’t say it’s the chromium but I can’t see it being anything else. I still eat a healthy low carb dinner but if I want a doughnut afterwards then I have it! I do fast OMAD almost everyday so that could be the source as well. Idk. It’s hard to say
