The MFD on the Flektogon is actually 15cm - the shortest marking on the lens is 20cm but the focus actually extends below that. Also, I'd recommend getting a M42 to EF adaptor ring followed by a EF to camera native Turbo. The M42 to EF adaptor ring should be a 2 piece design with an inner collar mounting to the lense that is that fitted into the outer ring and held by screws. The original intention of this design is to allow the lens to be rotated so the markings are upright but what it effectively does is to allow plastic rings as shims to be inserted between the 2 rings to shift the lens forward so that the focus at infinity perfectly lines up with the marking on the lens. This is because of the nature of Soviet era (lack of) manufacturing precision and most M42 adapters cater for this by allowing the lens to be mounted further back. The result is that if you're unlucky, the lens will actually be focusing "beyond infinity" at the infinity marking. In some cases, it's because these lenses have been serviced and the front lens group have not been aligned properly during reassembly - the Flektogon design uses a long thread where the front group needs to be aligned correctly and glued down in place. If you end up tightening the front group down completely so that it touches the aperture assembly frame, your infinity focus will end up at somewhere in between the 1.5m and 3m markings. I literally just (within the last few hours) re-aligned the front group on my Flektogon 35/2.4 MC precisely because of this issue (I wanted to be able to swap my Flektogon 35/2.4 && Sonnar 135/3.5 with the Turbo without having to worry about the infinity issue. There are situations where you simply can't just rely on focus highlights on the body to slowly check for infinity focus point - e.g. if you're shooting into the empty night sky waiting for fireworks or lightning activity and there's nothing for you to check the infinity focus against.

This camera is really improving. What gimbal would be good with this?

sweet. I have some Voigtlander for Leica mount, the adapter seems a bit shorter than for M42

Yes, it should work nicely! An M mount to MFT adapter is smaller, you’re right!

Thanks! It’s a very helpful feature. Magnification should be able to be increased for sure, but we will ship with a default level. We’ll keep it in mind!
