A small detail: At 4:26 you say the iPhone has a "fake digital background blur" but you are not actually using the "portrait"-feature on the iPhone right? so the background blur is not fake, it's just very minimal compared to the Alice camera because of the much smaller sensor.

I hope one day we see version 2 with full-frame and more physical buttons to have more control over the photo. And hot shoe and hot swap of the battery! This is real way which other camera companies should look into

FF is not a major loss and it makes sense to stay M43 they would have to join the L-Mount alliance, it's the only FF option and the lenses are expensive and there are fewer choices. Battery swap and more buttons are good choices, but give me a pop-out SD card first.

At the moment we are getting ready to start shipping out UK cameras to our original backers, then EU customers, then US, and then rest of world. All cameras are manufactured to order in limited batch production. We'll be opening up orders for batch 4 soon with expected delivery date of roughly May/June 2024

A few questions: 1) Are you still using the somewhat-video-centric 12MP sensor? IIUC this sensor is a 48MP quad-bayer? Have you moved to the newer stacked micro-four-thirds sensor? 2) I'm excited to use your camera, but want to know if an investment in it will mean that I get all of the advancements you are sure to make in image processing and computational photography features and won't have to buy a new body? Will you make even some kind of verbal commitment to keeping updates for the camera coming even after you have a new unit with somewhat different hardware? Anyway, in general I'm excited to use your camera. I'd say this is one of the pieces of equipment that is keeping me staying in the micro four thirds system. I really hope you are the right company to solve video autofocus with only pixel-level data, as well as have the most advanced image stacking to expand the dynamic range of micro four thirds beyond what is available on larger sensors.

Not a fair comparison, They should be a similar FOV and shot on the same format ie RAW or JPEG.

Heya, the FOV is the same or very close in both cameras. Alice Camera uses a Micro Four Thirds sensor that has a 2x crop factor. So the Lumix 15mm lens is actually 30mm equivalent, for example, sorry if that wasn't clear!
