@@snakepham i dont have alot of knowledge on weightlifting, more on strongman/powerlifting. It looks like a RDL but with snatch grip. do weightlifters use that to get stronger from the floor in that position/grip to carryover to snatch?

Daniel Prest it’s a snatch deadlift, and you’re correct, it’s to build strength from the floor. You usually do both that and the snatch/clean high pull where you do all but put the bar overhead. You can easily overload those movements in a way that is hard in the original ones. Weightlifting is very different from PL, I love it though, the lifts are like poetry to me.
