Great interpretations. Key to getting most from Pete is to simply turn Sound OFF! Avoid the jumbled start, stop in middle of verse or chorus non stop dialogue and incessant hesitation over whether to use A or Am. Skip to last third of any lesson where he plays straight through. Wow ... what a difference! Love the sound of his Epi. I match with my EC version and Martin D16GT. Still the tone from that Blue mic and short-cut FREE lessons are great.

Thanks. Always get a lot from your vids. I do have to agree with heidegger101 on the bridge however. Playing the Dsus2 - D note on the B string instead of the C# has that certain Beatles ring to it

It's not 1* it's definately 5. All you need is there, thanks. Sounds really good, gonna give that a go for sure. One of my favourites. BTW Noel was in excellent voice on Thursday night, you'd have loved it Pete, all the old ones, even Digsy's dinner lol!!!! You should have gone overseas last week...to London! Have a good one, are you taking your guitar with you? can you stand 2 weeks away from it??

@gtrdoc91114 жыл бұрын
@georgiarose16 crooner's out to lunch. it's an Asus2 cos u're doing an A chord with the note of B on top thus the "sus 2" as B is the 2nd note in A major scale. an Esus4 is E chord with A note added i.e. 4th note of E major scale thus X22200.
@heidegger10112 жыл бұрын
great lesson but that bridge part going from E to D (not A ) after the orchestral section is not correct you have it as A- I have a program called Transcribe where I can bring everything up an octave and then slow it down - it really brings out the bass lines which is the key to figuring out chords.
