Thanks..I probably been playing longer than u been alive..but never took time to learn the song til now..I took French in school many years ago and still struggle to sing the French verse..u have a great vocal range and voice and are definitely good on the guitar to..thanks again for the help

@gpradzin Yes he plays on the 5th fret because he probably uses the same guitar he plays yesterday (1 tune lower) that's why it's on the 5th fret but originally it's 3rd :)

Well done, loved the Intro. Just for the hell of it I checked that Chord and you are 100% correct it's a D Dim, which sounds good in the verse and is easier to play than the Bb in my Beatles book. Keep up the good work and Happy Aussie Day Mate!

McCartney did an interview with a guitar magazine years ago and was asked about that chord, which he got a big kick out of. I think he said he and John learned it from a jazz guy in a Liverpool guitar shop.

Surfer Joe yeah. It's actually luke a B flat bar cord shape( capo on the 5th) with little finger holding down b and e strings- 3rd fret and bar covering the f note on the low e string. ( the 2nd chord. C the first chord with capo on 5th. - hope makes sense.....

That is basically the way it's played, only without the capo. Looks almost identical to the authentic way.
