I think it would be cool if the entire Penguin show he’s a Gotham City mob boss and we really dive into whatever his plan or scheme is and we almost want him to succeed because the plan is so genius and just as he’s about to succeed, everything starts to fall apart. Guys start coming up missing and this part of the plan falls apart and that part falls apart and then ultimately we find out that it was The Batman all along and shows up to take down Penguin and ultimately close the casket on his devious plan.

Honestly I think this was needed. I don’t think a gangster series about penguin was enough to pull casual audiences in to watch it. With batman more people will be intrigued to watch the show

If Marvel can cook up something special with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman at Comic Con, that would bring back some classic vibes from the past.

I don't think we'll get anything Deadpool & Wolverine at SDCC other than video message from Ryan and Hugh, 'cause the movie will essentially be in the rear view window by then (even tho it's Day 2 of release). Maybe Feige talking about its success at the top and confirming Shawn Levy for Avengers 5. I agree with Coy (to a certain extent) that Pedro, Vanessa, Joe, and Ebon will walk out on stage with Shakman to talk about the movie, before flying out to London that night (they've done that numerous times before)....

Disappointing no talk about Superman or DCU stuff.

It was my understanding that the Russos didn't want to do Avengers 5, so that report is surprising. I'd be fine with them doing it, but I really prefer to see what Shawn Levy will bring to it this time. Also, I'm still a little confused why F4 is set in an alternate 1960s instead of present day. I get the reasoning for it being in a different universe, but I want to know what the significance of the time period is. As for Cap 4, that budget scares me. I hope it still does well enough to make a profit. And Batman appearing on The Penguin is awesome news. I think you might be right that he could show up in the penultimate episode, but I have a feeling we could see him in the premiere or finale just as easily, but time will tell.

Just thinking any chance this can be your weekend show? Give you an extra slot Friday to do that 2nd in-studio NY show you want to do. Seems to do numbers when you put it up late iv noticed and let it run over the weekend.

I don’t think Ryan Reynolds shows up for Comic Con. On that Saturday Wrexham FC is playing a friendly in his hometown of Vancouver. That seems like something that is personal to him.

That Zemeckis movie feels like a huge swing for anyone. A movie told from one fixed point of view? Very ambitious I feel. I also thought after seeing the 2 shot with Coy and Winston that Coys voice needs to changed to BigBalls voice effect. 350 to 400 million for a movie? How does this come to pass? Did they not see the movie was bad at a script level before going into production? Is the same director overseeing the "reshoots"? Was the director responsible for the poor reception to the movie? How fiscally irresponsible?

Deadpool 3 is a lock. But they have to get Daredevil, FF, and Sam Wilson right or I'm going to walk away.

Realism would be penguin is doing life in jail but we know Batman villains always get out after doing crazy crimes. Honestly, the new MArvel slate, this sounds like too much to be honest. They're supposed to be working on quality not quantity now. Less shows, more movies, smaller budgets, better writers. Quality, over quantity. Pay seasoned writers and directors to work on the essential projects and put the smaller projects on the backburner til you've won back the trust of the audience.

Not exactly, they can't do anything about Spidey at D23. At SDCC, they can mention Spider-Man and maybe announce something, I remember feeling the way you do right before SDCC in 2016, the year before Homecoming, and at that Marvel panel, they brought out the cast, director, and showed footage....

@@jarednavarrete1740 True but 2016 was a different time; that was the beginning of Marvel and Sony’s partnership to bring Spider-Man into the MCU. Today, it’s different. I think the reason why Sony will be the one announcing a new Spider-Man is because they desperately need some good announcemens; especially after Morbius and Madame Web made them a laughingstock. And who knows if Kraven the Hunter will do well.

The Penguin series I will get to before the end of the year however it's no House of the Dragon or something. . I believe Jordan Peele already said his next film was a universal film and that would be 2926 however I agree with he would be great for Blade. I don't think the cast will be at comic-con for Fantastic Four however to your the point of so much of ones income coming from Comic Con and living in California is exactly why I don't go to Santiago Comic Con or live in California; don't get me wrong I love comic con and have visited and love California, it's just expensive like MA and other states. So glad we get X-men 97 next summer. The Russos are great directors, but we should see what Levy can do especially; that said rumors are just that and I prefer facts.

I don’t know if I agree completely. It’s a fair argument but Kevin Feige didn’t write or direct those movies. Even if Feige did have a big role in those movies, those movies don’t exist without someone to write and direct them. And Kevin Feige is not a movie director nor a screenwriter.

The 4 movies they directed was written by great writers Markus and McNeely. Yes the 4 movies they directed were great but they had great writers and kevin feige holding their finger throughout. Everything they've done outside of marvel has been abysimal

The answer is not wrong, it's just that there are more people responsible. Feige is fundamental in the process, but what has helped the Russo brothers make this kind of blockbusters is the whole marvel machine, a machine that already has a decade of experience making commercial movies, something that Netflix doesn't offer them.

Really? If it was Feige, then explain the poor quality of MCU's recent slate of movies. The only missing element recently is the Russos. Feige is still there and we got the Marvels, Quantamania, and Secret Invasion. Feige is still your man in all of that.

@@158Cypher Yes the poor quality is due to feige being spread to thin. He went from doing 2-3 projects a year to like 8-10 projects a year including Disney plus shows. Obviously the quality is gonna drop. Look I'm not against the russos if they are announced as directors I'd be happy as the next person. You look at other MCU directors, they've done great work outside the MCU. Can't say the same for the russos. And feige is a businessman- if he brings the russos back for secret wars and the movie is a hit- the narrative will be "The russos saved the mcu" and feige would have recieved their careers. He wants to remind the people that he is the secret sauce not the russos
