The riddles and clues were a good start for this early take on Riddler, but if he makes a return in future movies, I hope get to see the version of Riddler who sets up elaborate puzzles and death traps that personally challenge Batman's physical and mental strength. It would be awesome to get a Batman/Riddler movie with more of a Saw/Squid Game element to it.

I give this movie an easy 9/10. Nearly a masterpiece, especially considering how much Batman we've been seeing on the big screen in the past few decades, It feels fresh. I would love to see Pattinson return maybe jump another 2 years from here, being brought out to solve a special case of missing test subjects for a certain fear toxin👀. But yeah, I really want to see a Scarecrow in this universe so bad, I think Jimmi Simpson would be a perfect fit for the role of Jonathan Crane. Loved the reaction, good job getting it back up.

Scarecrow would be dope. I like Batman Begins but I don't think they did a great job with that particular character. I also want to see Victor Fries, Hugo Strange, and Waylon Jones. I want to tread some new ground in Batman cinema and even though having a Joker to The Batman is kind of essential, I don't really want him to be the sole focus of anything unless they go far enough in the Battinson world to do the Death in the Family story. But they can't start with Jason, we need Dick Grayson to be the first Robin.

@@morsecode.6686 Nope. Most overused Batman villain aside from Joker. We got Scarecrow in 2 movies and 2 Videogames now. Other villains deserve the time to shine.

You can't really go wrong with villains in the Batman universe. The Joker, while overused imo, is still THE villain and at some point he should be a part of Matt Reeve's universe. I like Scarecrow a lot but I would love guys like Killer Croc (Arkham Asylum Style), Mad Hatter or Firefly in the mix. Maybe Black Mask as well.

The whole opening sequence with Pattinson's monologue is flawless. Actually, legitimately cinematic perfection.

so people said that this movie is slow huh well the people that said that are used to short marvel or DC films with rushed cgi action and non good story telling. btw endgame is longer than this movie and nobody complained 😂

yeah and there are people out there that say this story is bad.its not perfect but its still really good imo and yeah most people nowadays have the attention span of a squirrel and cant just watch a movie that is a little more drawn out. People are always bias towards marvel endgame was only ok cause the final battle thats it

Frick. Gotta say it all over again. Ahem I highly recommend watching "Batman" from 1989 and it's (only) sequel "Batman Returns" from 1992 if you haven't already.

This movie means so much to me cuz I'd been excited for it since Pattinson's screen test was released way back in June of 2019. So much to love in this film; from the car chase, to the fantastic visuals, to actual depth for Catwoman, to Penguin, the movie has it all.

It may be a reupload, but it's perfect timing considering the sequel was just announced last night!

The Riddler trophies and riddles in the Arkham games is what I live for! One of the best parts of the games IMO.

I just love how "comic batman " this feels I love it , like I'm reading a batman comic but it's a movie , just beautiful

After I watched this movie the second time, I can see why it was worth the hype because I wasn’t feeling it, not like The Dark Knight Trilogy, but I understood it more now, a lot of things kept me hooked to see this movie, the casting was great, the movie was dark, the plot was something crazy, This movie was 🔥🔥🔥 It was worth the hype and the wait fs, one of the best movies of the year and this decade, I also thought that casting Robert Pattinson as Batman was a miscast, but Nah I was wrong, he was great as Batman

This is a perfect Batman film

Some of this movie was inspired by The Long Halloween comic. I highly recommend the 2 part animated movie.

I loved this movie. I still don't know where I would definitively rank it among the other Batman movies; the problem is it is really different from all the other ones. Regardless, this one is still a banger, and I was entertained the entire time.

I really like how the song Something in the Way by Nirvana really fits in with the movie it really captures the dark and gritty vibe of Gotham

Heh. Yeah, no. On the end credits, there are only like 5 actual songs listed, with Ave Maria being like 3 of them, this Nirvana song, and like 1 other, so...you know where they spent the money. This movie is complete ass.

Dark knight defiantly is still #1 because of the Joker, however if we just going based on Batman himself and the movie this by far is my favorite. I will say the music in this as well dark knight are stunning!! Gives goose bumps!!! Great reaction!!

There is indeed going to be a sequel and one more movie after that as well as a series on HBO that’s about the Penguin. I’m excited for the series on the Penguin

Alright so personally I think this is my favorite Batman after watching the dark knight and this one 3 times recently there’s just more detail that I like and it shows the Batman actually being a detective and stuff so that’s cool idk they’re both great movies tho but this tops dark knight personally

An accurate depiction of this would be that the film is based on Year One, The Long Halloween, Catwoman When In Rome, Earth One, Batman Ego, Dark Victory, Zero Year, and a bunch more that take only slight inspiration from some minuscule comics

These contacts would definitely make the police department's work so much easier.

Great reaction, this is my favorite Batman movie, but Affleck is still my favorite Batman and favorite Bruce Wayne, Paul Dano was amazing as the Riddler, the only thing I didn’t like about this is how they shined flashlights and headlights right into the camera, seeing it in the theater that gave me a migraine, Also they just green lit the sequel

I think Affleck is a perfect casting for Batman I also think the movies he was a part of didn’t understand the character of Batman If he was Batman in his earlier years… OOOOOOOH BABY I just don’t like what Snyder did with him. Just a waste I.M.O.

awesome...saw it twice in theaters....they nailed the fact that its only his second year with all the details - small mistakes, falling from the glider when trying to land on the bus.... i think RP is the best batman of all time, but Heath is still the best villain. not sure if that will ever change. both movies are outstanding, which speaks to the depth of the character as a whole

I've seen this movie in theaters so many times and what can I say. In my opinion this is the best *Batman* movie. i love The Dark Knight but this movie made me walk out of the theaters feeling like i have never felt in any movie before it speaks to me a lot more than the Dark knight or other Batman films and i just love this Version of batman that he is more younger and this development of Vengeance towards Hope so brilliantly done 10/10 the soundtracks 10/10 the acting just perfect I love The Batman.

Cheesy and campy as hell but also hilarious and Adam West is one of the GOATs - Batman (1989). Michael Keaton is a solid Batman and Jack Nicholson is a good Joker. - Batman Mask of the Phantasm (1993). The best animated Batman movie, one of the best Batman movies in general, Kevin Conroy is one of the best Batman/Bruce Wayne actors, and Mark Hamill (as in Luke Skywalker Mark Hamill) is one of the best Jokers and gives the most epic Joker laugh ever in this.

I really enjoyed this movie they did a good job with it

at first i was confused why batman kept standing next to the bomb, but i think he was doing it to show the D.A. guy that batman is now going sacrifice himself, kind of trying anything to get the answer out and to safe him.

You have to watch the north man! I know it's pretty new and still in theaters but it's a great movie, one you should check out in the future. It's not the most complex thing you'll ever see but that's not even a downside. Def should Check out sometime. I feel like the Dark Knight movies were about Bruce Wayne, but The Batman is about Gotham City. It drew a lot of its story from Batman Year 2, and the telltale Batman games which have the same Wayne family origins.

The Batman and The Dark Knight are tied for my favourite film of all time.

@@ItsAPrimatee Yeah definitely! I unfortunately didn't get to see it in theaters cuz I was busy working, but I finally got HBO Max and have a pretty big TV in the living room and I was home alone, so I essentially was able to focus on it all by myself. 🍿

I can't recommend enough that you watch the Disney movie Dinosaur from the year 2000. It's on Disney+. In my opinion; Dinosaur (2000)'s a criminally underrated masterpiece, and one of the two greatest Disney movies of all time alongside The Lion King (1994). But that's just my opinion. Funny how everyone that talks about the Dark Knight never really talks about Batman. As I've seen someone state before, it may be my favorite Joker movie, but far from my favorite Batman one. Affleck may be my favorite representation of Batman, this is definitely tops for the best Batman movie.

The movie was great, there were nothing surprising about Pattinson interpretation, of course he would've killed it in Batman, Batman himself reminded me a lot of Bale (with better fighting style and voice). The most interesting to me was the Riddler and he became my new favorite batman villain. Two thing i personally didn't like were the part when they tried to make him intimidating. That didn't work for me, he looked goofy in those scenes, especially with the slow walk and the epic music, And the Joker, f*ck him, we don't need another joker right now, Batman has other villains.
