  My head canon ending is that Nick is wearing one of the ties that Clyde is said to have developed, and is choked to death shortly after attending his daughter's recital at the end of the film. It's the only way I can accept the ending we were given.

  The problem with this idea is that everytime he dies, it would completely change the trajectory of events (butterfly effect). Still a great film though!

  The one thing I think people miss when watching the first time is that it’s real people at work and suddenly a camera crew is following them around. Of course they are gonna look at the camera as they are not actors. Hope that makes sense.

  Yeah, the newest MI (Dead Reckoning pt 1) is totally worth of a reaction. The Christopher McQuarrie directed episodes are all fire, imo.

  The source material is "All You Need Is Kill" by Hirodhi Sakurazaka, an manga (Japanese graphic novel). Released 10 years ago, this week. One of the two Sci-Fi films that Cruise made back to back. The other was Oblivion (2013), great too. Also Cruise's 2nd film with director Doug Liman (Knight and Day) and writer Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher, The Usual Suspects, second half of the MissionImpossible film series). This was at Comic-Con 2013 with the filmmakers and primary cast answering questions, showing descriptions of the film. I saw this in IMAX, which sold a lot of tickets for the format. Cruise as the reluctant hero was interesting. Emily Blunt as the baddest warrior was cool. The movie was good. It's ending is considered kind of anti-climatic. Ever since, a sequel has been teased over the years.

  Peakkkk film. Definitely carried by the first half but thats just because it's so good. Still a solid ending and a surprisingly good role from Tom Cruise of all people.

  So here is something fun I thought about when it comes to this movie. The enemy resets the day to basically do better the next time. So we have to ask the question, how many times has Cage been on that beach fighting the war before he took the power? The mimics at the start seem to know where to hit the transports and even have ambush units in the sand waiting for squads to show up. For all we know that beach fight could have happened hundreds of times before cage killed the Mimic. That is another reason why I think the alpha mimic is on the front lines. If it dies then that means the mimics didn't do a good enough job and it wants the day to reset.

  24:20. 1 thing people are often confused about at the ending of the film is that because Cage & J Squad launched their attack several hours BEFORE the entire surprise invasion took place, & Cage got covered in the Omega's blood he was able to regain the ability to rewind time 1 day again like when he got covered in the Alpha's blood. So, when he went back 1 day this last time he ended up in the helicopter since that's where he was several hours before waking up in the military base, but because the Omega died all of the other Mimics died as well, so Cage was able to restart the day but the Mimics stayed dead. &, if Cage ever dies again he'll restart the day since he still has the Omega's power, unless he gets a blood transfusion again.

  Thanks for getting the title right. People always call it “Live, Die, Repeat” because they advertised the slogan heavily or they’ll tell you they changed the title. They did not. The movie is called Edge of Tomorrow and L.D.R. Is the slogan lmao

  Yes there is a confusion of the title of this movie, alot of digital retailers like amazon still have the title as "Live, Die, Repeat:Edge of Tomorrow", so you can understand the confusion, especially when you see the movie posters with "Live, Die, Repeat" in big bold letters across the middle of the poster, which is normally held for the main title and and not a tagline.

  One of my favorite films of the 2010s and sci fi movies! Loved the blending of various military sci fi stories (Starship Troopers, Aliens, Halo, etc) with a Groundhog Day style time loop. Plus it’s hilarious (I particularly love the “On Your Feet Maggot” montage)

  NICE! One of my favorites... Been waiting on the sequel ever since. It's suppose to be called "Live, Die, Repeat and Repeat". My theory? Cage and Rita live a long happy life and have a few kids together, Cage dies of old age shortly after Rita and wakes up back in camp as they get ready for the beach invasion..

  This first episode is actually the same as the original UK version of the office! Other than this episode, the two series do deviate, both in style and comedy. I do recommend checking out the original.

  Just a heads up- the first season isn't gonna be as good since they try to replicate the vibes of the original British version of "The Office". It gets WAY better in season 2, this show is amazing, you won't regret it
