Thanks for the T-Bar ball position video! Keeping it simple helps one to understand and how ball position influences contact/flight. 👏🏻 🏌🏻

Another informative video Michael!!! 👍🏻 How does this affect the width of stance for each position?

Love your stuff…plain, simple to follow, and easy to repeat! All key…2 questions….1. The part of the T between your feet looks to be about 1.5 inches towards the front foot and not dead center…is that on purpose? And 2. When you use longer clubs, don’t you widen your stance more? I always thought you leave your front foot where it is and then drop the back foot back….so, using your tee, you would keep the ball at the cross hairs of the tee (where you put the wedge), but by dropping your rear foot back for the longer clubs, it essentially moves the ball up in your stance…is that not the methodology? Seems you were doing pretty much the same thing, but instead of just dropping your back foot farther back for each club, you widened both feet to keep the tee close to the middle and then moved the ball up in the stance…hope that makes sense…

Great video, Michael. I've struggled with this over the years. I found that my best ball position varies only from middle of my stance (wedges through 6-iron) to one ball forward (5-iron through hybrid). For the driver, I place the ball just inside my lead-side heel. You stated that the middle has to do with where your heels are. Isn't it easier to just place the ball in line with your gonads (testicles)? No matter how wide or narrow your stance, your crotch will always be the middle of your stance.

Followed your instructions for the T-bar. Awesome training aide. Would you please expand on your recent “additions” and their use? For example, orange noodle behind trail foot. Thanks a ton!

Michael!!! I'm a new subscriber to your channel here and loved your segments on Golf Channel. Could you please provide the approximate dimensions for this "Ball Placement" station and explain the reason for the orange foam noodle on the right side? Love your explanations and concepts approach to the golf swing; it just makes sooooo much sense!! Glad to see the same energetic and passion you have for the game!!! Cheers!!!

I've made two tees. But if you do the long one at the top. Here is how to make it. kzread.info/dash/bejne/eaWL0NGjodG1eZs.htmlsi=20gG5ONlX-ZyeM0I The floaty add on is in his The takeaway video.

Ball position isn't one size fits all.

Neither is set up. You can have an open stance and hit a draw, you can have a closed stance and hit a cut. You can play your 4 iron off the back foot and hit it high, you can hit your lob wedge off the front foot and hit it low. But having a good square setup and good ball positioning makes it easier to control the face
