This is my Achilles heel on the driver. I see a ball mark 3 - 5 inches in front of the tee. Drives me crazy.

I am not a pro, but if I were to venture a guess, his irons are too short. That’s why the need to bend over. I could be wrong.

Hey Michael it’s Chris from the first video. Thank you for taking the time to watch and give solid advice/tips on how to correct my swing, I’ll keep working on it and hopefully have another video to send at the end of the season with more of a Max Homa action.

Do these instructors think the average guy can just look at a different place and instantly things get better? Where else would we look when there is a ball in front of us and are programmed to hit it? Why not hit at 4 o’clock using your number or brand name? But I say it’s food for thought.

What about when it sitting at the bottom four inch or deeper rough and all you can see is the top of the ball?

If golf could be played with only a driver. I’d be good. Bring irons into and it becomes extremely frustrating. Oh the woes of learning the game.

Recently bought a 7 wood..go get one if you dont have one and you may only ever need your pitching wedge in your bag as far as irons are concerned!! Completely changed ny game!!

I look at the front of the golf ball to help make sure I hit through it. It helps me so I don't hit fat.

Where I look is where my low point is. For all of my irons I look at the front of the ball so that I hit the small ball first. With a tee ball (3 or 5 wood) I look at the back of the ball because I want the low point behind the ball. With the driver being on a higher peg, I may look behind the ball to ensure catching it 6°-7° up.

Interesting. Unfortunately my cataract surgery a couple of years ago has dramatically affected my vision, for the worse. I need bifocals now but can't wear them to play golf. The astigmatism makes things even worse. I do use your trigger, in my case moving my hands forward a bit to start my swing. Than I look at the path I want my back-swing to start on, and that seems to help. If I think about where the ball is I get in trouble. Does that make sense?

I always hit my stinger with a draw spin. I feel like trying to hit the cut produces too much spin. I like moving the ball back in my stance 1 ball. That let's me cover the ball while getting the draw spin and lowering the trajectory.

Use a towel. Fold it in half then in quarters. Put the ball on the towel, and set up as recommended here for a bunker shot. You’d be surprised at how close the feeling is to sand.

Head and hips counter balance in the coronal plane. Gerry Hogan understood physiology. PGA instructors.. not so much. If we intend to keep our head in front of our toes, the hips will counter balance and there will be no possibility for early extension.(EE) ie standing up /lifting head Thanks to Gerry Hogan for sharing.
