Besides, not everyone is so unwise as to not see all the horrific damage we're causing. You're also discounting all the tribes of humans that *do* live very much in harmony with nature to this day. This year we got almost no snow or ice in Estonia (been few plus degrees most of the time instead of usual minus twenty). On the news we were asked not to bother the grey seal pups if seen on coasts. Nice to have a bit warmer weather for a change and not having to shovel snow, but it's not a huge price to pay for the magnificent deep cold icy forests glistening in the sun and just having decent snow instead of trampling the sleeping grass. Spring flowers have been blooming too.

In Poland also. It is so dry during spring time now, I am so sorry for all wildlife, especially this that stays close to human habitats. I see changes around my house in the suburbia of Kraków, more houses, less fields or trees. I wish we could have balance with nature. I was the only person not cutting my lawn short every Saturday. I used to cut it with a scythe just few times a year (with the benefit of scaring burglars . And I planted a lot of wild bush and small trees. It was fascinating to see how much wildlife has been coming to my garden, I had even an owl visiting to pick up some fat mice :D My garden was much more cold, shady and moist than others. But now it I wonder how the young birds will hatch with those high temperatures in spring.

Truly a beautiful part of the northern hemisphere. An excellent documentary showing how similar yet different than northern Canada.

Never knew Europe still has such beautiful forests...wonderful documentary indeed...
Most storks, both black and white have been migrating back to North-Eastern Poland, there are thousands upon thousands that migrate to exactly the same nest they have left the previous autumn, amazing, how people friendly they are, a lot of nests are right on the top of a house or a barn, a great video, well produced, well wishes to Estonians, Latvians and Lithuanians.

@Edmunds Landiss : Humans came from nature though, and once lived in harmony with it. All the trouble began when we started bending nature to our will, and that's still the problem today. Besides, not everyone is so unwise as to not see all the horrific damage we're causing. You're also discounting all the tribes of humans that *do* live very much in harmony with nature to this day. But I understand your frustration too.

There were reports last winter of the entire region all the way from Moscow to Stockholm being above freezing for most days through December and January. I suspected the cold winter filmed in this documentary is no longer part of the reality of the Baltics. Thanks for confirming my suspicion. I'd like to know the year this documentary was produced. I think it is remarkably irresponsible of this channel to neglect informing the viewers.
