We actually have some very small hints at what the Crash Zone (or part of it) may have looked like before the Aurora crashed. Behind the aurora are some small Mesas containing lush dark green grass and various coral deposits scattered throughout. The layout of the mesas is unlike any other biome in the game, suggesting a vast green field with unique flora and fauna once inhabited the Crash Zone.

@@Dan81848 most likely answers are: 1. The sounds of the crash and the other rumbles attract them since they hunt via echolocation 2. Their breeding ground was over there which would explain why we never see any reaper eggs in game; they are under the ship. Also makes it the perfect spot for the sea dragons to come up and get them, which they did. And now their tunnel upwards is blocked off These are still speculations but they’re very likely and much of the community would use either of these explanations

I think the lore is that the area was part safe shallows (where also the last degasi base resides, seen in the trailer), part something else and that it got upended once the Aurora crashed into it, making it a perfect hunting ground for reapers and the sound of the crash attracting reapers as well

yay another video (also, theres some pda logs from the scanner room and a room that is unnamed, that one that is unnamed only exists because the system detected a suspicious word which was "religious"

Press click more to view spoilers: VVVVVV It was going near 4546B to create a Phasegate as it's primary mission but it's secondary mission was to potentially save the Degasi which crashed on 4546B and when they went closer the enforcement platform shot them down (There is more lore but I don't wanna have to spend an hour typing, just go to the Subnautica wiki and search stuff like the Degasi and the Aurora)

When you look at the Aurora from the bottom or top, It looks a whole heck of a lot smaller then it normally does, usually you're seeing it from the sides, and it looks huge, but when you get the full scope, you realize, its not THAT huge, its still pretty big, but, really, especially after its blown up, its pretty small looking.

And many hallways are absolutely massive. I would say they were made for Prawn movement if the doorways were not people sized. I wouldn't mind seeing a deckplan as there seems to a lot of wasted space.

What thing that bugged me about the Enforcement platform is how far away it shoots ships from. I can understand shooting ships trying to leave but shooting ships when they are in Orbit is a little stupid. What if a ship is just going past the planet? It’s weird the Enforcement platform lets the sun beam get in atmosphere before shooting it but shoots other ships that are still in space. I wonder how many innocent people got shot down who had no intentions of landing on the planet

I got a question about how many enforcement cannons are there on 4546 B. As there must be more around the planet for coverage so the virus doesn't escape the planet.
