What i love about Musk is that he is really 'present' in every interview. Most of his interviewers ask the same questions, which are their first time. But Musk always engages and responds as though its his first time too. Never a mechanical answer. Lesson: Respect people and be present if you want to be a great leader

i love this interviewer, super smart, super humble, super interested and great questions

Anyone spot Elons' comment; "steel would not be the the first choice for a rocket" and yet stainless steel is exactly what starship has ended up being made from! This seems to confirm to me just what an incredibly serendipitous moment it was that Spacex came up with the realisation that stainless would overall be a far more practical choice than the materials conventionally being used for rocketry. There is no way that spacex could have built so fast and so cheaply with carbon fibre or aluminium, or expected to return the orbital ship without having to address some very difficult problems relating to heating up upon re-entry. It's very interesting to look back and see how things have evolved since when this video was made and realise that though Elon was evedintly a very far sighted individual even back then he didn't know it all. It helps to convince me that the Musk Phenonemon is not just one great big con! Starship has yet to get to orbit and return of course, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
