He's stated a number of times he's much more comfortable designing and crunching number than talking to the public, but his product doesn't sell itself unfortunately so he often takes on the role as spokesperson. You are an idiot, NASA shit canned landing rockets vertically in the early 90s. It's an flawed design because it requires too much fuel instead of payload, there is no cost saving because of this. You can't re fly it immediately like an airliner. A lot of WOW for really nothing. This hasn't changed anything for mankind. How about the Starship to send a million persons to Mars (a dead planet). It would take 3 launches each and everyday for 9 years plus double that for his refueling Starship scheme and supply rockets. You believe that?He's to date not made a profit on Teslas although he claims one. He gets billions in carbon and tax credits from the gov. that he sells at a discount. He explained the failure of his spaceship (several months ago) in saying “It made a rapid, unscheduled deconstruction “ 😂. Then he said that at least the crater was in the right place. I admire his sense of humor but it all scares me 😳.

It's already slowing in most 1st world countries. Japan's pop growth, for example, has almost come to a halt. If you want to accelerate the process, educating poor 3rd world women and getting them out of poverty gives you the most bang for the buck.

The beauty of listening to Elon Musk is all he talks about is forward looking and advancing thinking . There is no negative or standing still with his mind sharing. A mind advancing person to listen to. I can listen to Elon Musk for hours. Rather to President Joe Biden in 5 minutes.

This was a surprisingly good talk, especially considering how long ago it was. Q&A was the best part. Elon took on some topics more directly than I can recall seeing before. His concerns about fracking were especially notable. I wonder if he believes in a hot, deep biosphere. I mostly agree with do have a couple of criticisms: 1. This is the first time I've seen commenting on the obvious question I'd love to ask him: WHY MARS? However, he did not mention what I keep thinking is the best option of all: artificial habitats, such as O'Neill cylinders. BTW a base on Mercury might actually be surprisingly feasible, because of areas at the poles that are perpetually in darkness. In this respect it is much like the Moon, and like almost nowhere else in the Solar System. OTOH I don't think Mercury has much else to offer, so I don't know why anyone would want to put a settement there. 2. I'm definitely not in favor of more nuclear power, but his claim that nuclear plant exclusion zones rival those of solar farms is specious TBH. If you get constrained for land, the area around a nuclear plant can have multiple uses: agriculture, wind, and solar, or even a combination of wind and one of the other two uses. You could even put the nuke underground, except for the cooling towers. There may be places where land is constrained enough to make this an issue, although TTTT that seems doubtful.

@@moestrei . Why would you attack a hilarious comment like this? This comment is funny. It made me smile because I feel the same way. Nobody is attacking your Daddy, Elon. There are plenty of people in these comments that are directly attacking him. I think your time would be better suited replying to them. Lastly, I challenge you to find me a solar pathway light that isn't made in China. Find me one. People don't necessarily want to buy from China, but sometimes that's our only choice. Come on dude.

Pardon, Edison invented the fucking light bulb. Tesla hasn't invented anything man. I don't dislike the guy but get real dude.

Thank you for uploading this, its always very insightful to hear from Elon. Really looking forward to Tesla becoming more profitable so he can start working on other problems such as the electric plane and "hyperloop".

@@davidsoom1551 a conman can’t last for more than few years. Look at his past companies like PayPal, he’s a technical guy and he’s pretty good at it. A conman has never produced a real thing. This guy has invested his time and money in producing things that have real value. Please be more specific when you say he’s a conman. I’m not his fan but trying to understand the hate on him. I know his fans are a pain in the butt but put specifics on how he’s taking advantage of tax benefits and stuff

The disease epilepsy is primarily an effect of methyl mercury used for high yield farming. A concern for epilepsy should focus on the elimination of methyl mercury and other Organo metal compounds from use and manufacturing to have an impact on the incidence rate..

Kinda off topic but related to the same conclusion Elon made with regards to designing a smaller scale of a new product. Next year I'll be creating a completely original vehicle called "polymobile" type vehicle for my senior design project (college student). And at first I really wanted a full scale model but afterwards I realized that because I'm venturing in uncharted territory I'm going to have a series of nightmare failures so I opted with my team to design a smaller R/C version first.

Elton Musk , great your achievement on TEXLA S CARS. We are using so much of raw materials to replace IC engine cars world over. I suggest today most cars are front wheel drive cars. My thought is to convert these cars by fitting a rear wheel E powered with a AXIL system attached to this very car thereby a very speedy EV conversion. Also great affordable savings for every individual besides that one can start his IC engine when he/she runs out of EC power. Above all speedy requirement to save our climate ! I suggest all states / Govt should look into this possibility.

Here is where I was 9 years ago...not smart enough to invest in Tesla...too busy paying for my Son's College Degree at TCU. In 2013...I was out there Fracking those Methane wells...and my health today is not good. But Electricity mostly came from Natural Gas ..which enabled the burning of less coal.
