I like how much thor wants to make sure he actually got the rep and can keep it this time, just in case :D
At some point Liz will deliver the videos before the events even happened 🤯
Big Z pressing the 450 lb log for 4 reps is more impressive he's the only one who could lift it that's why they had to bring in a little log for the others 😂

Lucas can out firing what a great 1st day he had. Mitch looking comfortable going into day 2.

Big Z is still the King of the Austrian Oak. I’ve followed this sport all the way back to 1978 and without a doubt when Big Z set that record the field was a lot more difficult along with the competitors. These men are very powerful but this field isn’t like 5 years ago let alone 10 or even 20.

Some impressive lifts and efforts shown here
It's like Mitch does an incline bench press with the weight and then moves his body to be underneath the weight after he benches it.
@Alpostpone
Ай бұрын
This is the technique that was used in olympic lifting when clean & press was a thing there, allowing better use of core muscles and decreasing load on arms for greater weights. Since strongman is less strict about and oly lifting, it's fine here. Admittably the "layback" press looks scary due to intense back arch.

Is this the first event?
I have a great idea for a new strongman event. I think we can all agree, that opening a tight jar of pickles is the ultimate test of strength. So why not make it a competition? I would CNC mill a metal pickle jar and the lid. It would be screwed together with a specific amount of Nm, so it would always be the same tightness and then you have to try to unscrew it. While we are at it, let’s make it weigh 60 kg or so, so that it’s even harder. I would love to see that in a competition.
So there's no live on KZread?
