Hello everybody and welcome to the third Mixtape of oldskool Amiga demoscene mods. This time again a C60 A-Side full :-) as we are going to the early techno ages.

The Tune from Jesus on E's was taken from the Endpart. As I expect all of you not too much enjoying to read endless scrolltext of a demo that wasn't even shown, I took some random capture from the Demo

'condom corruption' on state of the art is one of the best techno tracks ever. on any format. IMHO (not to mention the GFX and loadtime on the actual demo) Even more so when you looked the actual .mod. and saw how it was programmed - blew my mind. pattern breaks all over the place and such dense patterns - just amazing.

@@DJArvy perhaps you could help me "track" ;) down then name of an Amiga a music demo that is lodged in my brain? You really know your stuff :D The demo programming was really more in line with a music demo - it was past the sinus scrolling age and more towards when things got a bit more design (like SOTA and melon stuff) But the music was way more hardcore. The main thing I recall the speedball 2 nabbed sample "REPLAY!!" and gas masks 'front 242' was name checked. But it's not that demo. TIA!

So many memories of ordering PD demos from mags back in the day. Still got the A500 which is currently going through surgery to get it up and running again.

Too bad you got to mailorder Demos. There should be absolutely no one making money out of spreading / selling Demoscene releases

I remember sticking a little blue disc in my Amiga 500 (Later I had the 600 and then a 1200) and having the menu cone up eventually for Jesus on cheese and also the entire cool stuff shown here. Love the mix, takes me back a few years! Thanks for the effort of making it.

Yeah! .. Though the closest MTV Party Zone got to that was the 3LUX and the XMIX series. Most of the music was done on the Amiga, though the visuals were from various video and graphic platforms/devices. Was all quite good. .... Mmmm I totally crushed on Simone Angel though. lol! Ray Cokes still goes to Simone's for a visit to this day.

The mod is made by Travolta and is called "Condom corruption"
27:00 - there is synchro problem between music and video.

You can be VERY sure that I watched the demo more than once and on original hardware. Like I said, I just chose the longer version of the mod.
By the time it gets to the spaceballs demo the audio is out of sync with the video by almost a minute. Damn.

yeah, that was kind of intended even, because I chose the extended original version of the mod audiowise which wasn't included in the demo
Bor, ist das schlecht! Man. So unbedingt wollte man damit protzen, was die Hardware konnte. Und wenn man sich diese Benchmarks heute ansieht, tut das schon fast weh. Comicartige Darstellungen und die Berechnung von Punkterastern. Dies dann immer im Wechsel, weils zu mehr nicht gereicht hat und natürlich im Takt zur Musik, damit man noch son Bisschen dieses Lichtorgelprinzip hatte, was noch ein wenig mehr zur Beeindruckung beitragen sollte und trotzdem noch im Rahmen des Möglichen war xD Heute wirkt das derart erbärmlich............. Ich hatte damals auch nen Amiga. Nen Amiga 500 und kannte diese Demos ebenfalls. Ich weiß noch, dass ich vor 25 Jahren ebenfalls gebannt davor saß während ich mir so ne Demo ansah. Aber heute.... Bei allem Verständnis für Nostalgie geht das wirklich nicht mehr. Dabei zocke ich auch heute hin und wieder mal auf Amiga Emulatoren. Jedoch nur noch Games, die auch inhaltlich nen bisschen was zu bieten haben (Lemmings, Oil Imperium, Turrican (wegen der Musik) ect). Und selbst dann auch wirklich nur noch aus nostalgischen Gründen und auch selten mal länger als ne halbe Stunde zwischendurch

David Bee tja, so hat jeder seine eigene Meinung zu diesem Thema. Ein bisschen mehr als Lichtorgel ist das ganze schon und in Zeiten, in denen teilweise von 8bit chiptunes für Chartmusik gerippt wird, würde ich so was eher als zeitlos betrachten
