Big thanks to Ahoy for covering the Amiga trackers!
The music is still fucking awesome, just like the Turrican II soundtrack. Man, I miss those days and the Amiga

@@DJArvy Amiga is very much alive even now two years later and it is only getting better. I love the Amiga community. I have both a working original A1200 and a pimped A2000.

How great thou art+Jesus!! I remember i had this first one demo. It was as close to God i could get.. gosh life is strange. Can be.. This is great stuff. Real art. Thanks for putting it out here. Especially when its made on real Amiga magical hardware ;)
if demoscene creators travelled back in time to work at amiga i guarantee you they would still be up and running for about a year or two
Demoscene music is basically proto-synthwave. Which is pretty weird since most of it is from the early 1990s, yet it sound more like a modern rendition of classic 80s synth music.

well, probably because most of the samples used in amiga music are from 80s and early 90s songs and synths, so it makes sense.
Pleeeease Doc Brown brings me back to the eighties/nineties !!!! Pleeeeeease !!!! Amiga rules the world !!! Yeeeeaaahhh !!!! 😉👍
thank you so much to the community for existing at all, you are a shining star of inspiration. SO much with SO little.
Brilliand mix.! Love the shit out of it.! And i grew up with this, in my times.!

10:41 is the standout for me with that groovin bass, what the heck. I can't believe this is an Amiga.

Yeah, the best bits Tip has ever tracked imho. Iirc Firefox said that the slow part of the track was the part Tip did back then
14:25 , loving the sound of Elysium again. I had the tracker file back in 1995 or so and it still sounds good today.

Yeah, I still listen to it every now and then in Protracker
@ 14:24 Beautifully mixed and beautiful transition to the next track. As mixing techniques I really liked this part the most. Goosebumps literally came up immediadly. Also the whole mix and choice of all tracks are simply awesome. This proves how powerful Amiga could be and still is! Very awesome work here!

Elysium. Could probably play it at a club today 25 years later and it'll still pass.
World of commodore 92 part 1 is a killer tune. Has a great flow to it from start to finish.
Excellent ✨
"Checknobankh" - one of the best modules ever from out of one of the best demos ever!
Wow, dude! Just wow! Great selection right here. I especially love the part where "And now, ladies and gentlemen, let's go for a real trip to Mars" shows up and the tune kicks in. Brings you right back to the good old Amiga days.

Yeah, Phenomena did a great job there. The demo is a real classic and Firefox‘s music fits so well to it, and yeah, it’s even kinda synced when still wasn’t state of the art (pun intended). Thanks for your kind words, really appreciated❤❤❤

@@DJArvy And to think that demo was released around Easter time in 1991... 31 years ago! I was only 9 back then, but I still remember them, as well as Quartex, Razor 1911, Fairlight, Melon Dezign, etc.

Just a great selection, this is immortal art!!
A Nice Day For A Walk was kickin it! It literally sounds like the Breakbeat Hardcore scene in the UK, since it was 1992 when the song was released, it was very popular that year! Cool for it's time!

I agree! Fun Fact, it was made by a Danish person named Mad Freak, plus lots of Scandinavian music producers like Marten Attling, Open Skies, and Ajax Project were part of the UK Breakbeat Hardcore scene. Recording and producing their tracks in their home country and then releasing to the UK. It’s so cool!

Yeah, that’s because I rendered them via modplug for mixing. If I’d do this today again, I’d most probably use 8bitbubsys windows Protracker clone for that because it is way more accurate, but hey, I made this „some moons ago“
cool music, I love it
still love it
Thanks for creating this. I like the idea, some joins could be smoother and better fitted but I still like it. Keep it comming :>

I really do love the concept and I'm trying not to be negative, but the mixing between tracks is pretty bad. You've got a lot of visuals from stuff like Bloody Money that don't go with the audio and effects from Jesterday, I think it was mixed with World of Commodore etc. I know it's probably insanely difficult to mix very varying Amiga audio, but I think it could possibly be done better. Poor Volker would be raising an eyebrow at what you've done to his music. But hey, what do I know? I'm a coder with zero music talent. Sorry to be negative, but it's just what I think...

Well, like the title says, it was my first attempt on this and it was done using unedited mods. I currently try to edit the mods to make them better mixable. But I'll keep this mix up though I know I can do better in mixing (just for the Nostalgia ;) ). I don't know where you find that Blood Money reference, there's nothing included from that game, as well as nothing from Jesterday. In this Mix I synced the Audio to the Video just as it was in the demos. BTW: If you read the comments on this video carefully you'll find out that "Poor Volker" actually liked this video ;)

+DJ Arvy The tunnel at 03:52 looks like the one from Jesterday, but it might be something else as I remember Chaos using the effect in a couple of things. But honestly, don't take my criticism too harshly, I lie what you're doing and I think it's going to be awesome once you've got the module mixing down. Good work.
:)
