All time classic. The walking cube at 1:32 absolutely blew me away as a kid. Amazing to see this preserved here

This demo was made exactly 30 years ago (May 1993). It still looks and sounds awesome! Timeless classic and real art.

Probably the most refined and characteristic XTD track from those years. Great demo :)

OMG how did I never see this or even hear of Mad Elks? I was into PD and have thousands of floppies yet missed these guys entirely!

love everything. But man, that 2nd tune got me to sleep so many nights .... Really love the theme

Still love ## BALLADA ## to this day. Such a nice end song.

This tune has some serious vibe and groove. Well done xtd.

In case you don't know or remember - the "always" inscription being "painted" at 3:04 is a straightforward implementation of the same-looking effect used in a jam rag commercial that was being notoriously broadcast on the Polish telly at the time. The creators made sure there's a nasty response for the most popular swear words in the end part text input. Spent quite some time to discover as many responses as possible. ;) Btw, the end scroll does not comply with GDPR! The vid needs to be reported to the European Commission! :P

Wonderful demo !

Maybe not so technically impressive, but damn, top smoothness and perfect gfx sync with adrenalinic sonix!!

It is the form of art. If they'd built a demo, focused on technical complexity, they might lose that feeling of impressiveness and excitement for the viewers. And in the form it is - you first get impressed, and only then start thinking how did they do that.

I live in Norway and i'm proud of Poland for 2 reasons. This demo, and the composer XTD which i made a demo tribute to in 1996 in Scala MM500 on CD32 with a Polish CD32 Elsat Expansion.

at some parts this feels like an angry clone of future crew demos on an amiga :)

Fun to watch and type shit in the endpart. Oh, and don't forget about the hidden part. ;)

first trackmo (where the demo parts keep going without a loading screen and the music just keep going) that make me realize how this is radically different! When I got asked today... did you keep up with how the computer industry has involved? I kind of feel.. what the heck? do you have to wait for loading or update when using your newly device? yes..? lol!

Change your computer screen to 50hz (I'm assuming your screen is in 60hz or higher) and watch video in 720p50, it's perfectly smooth like the real deal.

@Gromosław Śmiały Dla Mnie Kluska jest przykładem/ikoną polskiego biznesmena, któremu coś się udało i za to zniszczonego przez państwo tylko dlatego, że dogonił biznes z importu. Innymi słowy - Polak ustawowo to może być co najwyżej ciułacz bazarowy jak za oficjalnego PRLu ale nie biznesmen. Dlatego podałem absurdalny przykład, nieistniejącej choroby - tzn istniejącej medialnie - jaki już został przećwiczony w Polsce by wybić i te resztki biznesu choćby hodowli bydła. The trouble with Amiga demos is that they're only impressive until you realise how easy it is to pre-render everything.

Eh? Nothing in this demo, or any classic Amiga demo I've seen, was pre-rendered. Classic Amigas neither had the power nor storage to facilitate the playback of pre-rendered elements.

@@DJShadesUK huh? The only issue is that demos fit on floppy disks. You need lots of disk space to store long animations. But to say that a "classic" Amiga can't do it sounds absurd to me. It was the *only* computer I ever used until the late 90s that *could* do it. (Of course other computers could, but not any home computers)

Nigdy nie zrozumiem dlaczego Atari wykonała tak słabego kompa jak ST w stosunku do Amigi 500..???, Znowu C64 jest niemal dwa razy mniej wydajny obliczeniowo i trochę graficznie od 65XE... Ale SID C64 jest ponadczasowy, aż za dobry.

Nie jestem sprzętowcem, ale dźwięk Amiga miała znacznie lepszy od ST, przynajmniej w grach, płynność animacji znowu lepsza( w grach). Ja byłym zawiedziony ST, ale może to wina programistów jak w 65XE gdzie całkiem fajny komp a gry napisane 'na poczekaniu'.

Arkadiusz Weiss gry byly tylko dodatkiem do st, a uklad dźwiękowy słabszy niż w 65xe. Amiga to prawowity następca 65xe, ci sami twórcy, podobne rozwiązania. St byl bezkonkurencyjny w przypadku profesjonalnych twórców w np branży muzycznej czy dtp.

:-), no zobacz całe życie człowiek się uczy.., tylko spytam - to gdzie leżała siła ST , w jakich parametrach ?. Kilka razy słyszałem że dawniej producenci muzyczni korzystali z ST jako lepszy od Amigi, ale skoro dźwięk generatorów był tak słaby to .., czy chodzi o samplowanie ?

nie pamiętam szczegółów, ale chodziło o to, że ST miało interfejs MIDI dlatego nadawało się do sterowania urządzeniami musycznymi

Jeśli macie choć trochę rozumu to sprzedajcie Amigi i przerzućcie się na wypas owiec !!!
