For you lovely lady I would risk all the pain involved in handling those beasts. I had one a couple of years back I brought in for the dugout but it didn’t survive for me.... not to say I won’t try again. Next summer I’ll build some raised pond beds perhaps and give it a honest effort. They truly are impressive to see first hand.

Hiya Chris! New friend here - saw your link on the Fishtubers Notifications FB group. AMAZING lily....wowza! I would LOVE to have them - but alas I can only dream. They really get insanely huge. Great video! And hey, it's nice to meet you :)

Thank you very much for the kind words. Cruzianna doesn’t get anywhere near as large as amazonica. 3-4 foot pads if contained.

@@themadaquarist I have seen those pictures of small kids sitting on those ginormous lily pads. Always wondered if that was for real or not. Keep up with the great content!

They use the spikes for self defense yet vegans say plants don't feel pain I wanna throw every vegan in every nasty plant possible there is a reason why they do this I would never pick them up ile need a double layer welding glove lol

They are pretty difficult to handle. Uarus, Mytinnis, Pacu etc.... are the reason they’ve evolved this kind of protection. They would next a ton of light and would shade your tank to the point you would see anything
