Hi Harry, great video thank you for doing that! I am planning on installing the Halo lights to my Brera. Would you recommend placing them within the light casing or externally like you have done in the video? Many thanks

Inside the casing would be better however you need to prey open the the plastic lights and destroy the adhesive glue that holds them together, we didn't have anything to stick them back together so we just stuck them stuck them on the outside

Hey bro I'm wondering on placing my angel eyes outside the casing just like you but I want first to ask you a question: Did the angel eyes hold up after you installed them and do they still hold up till today?

@@nail9602 @trifecta4673 I'd just try it. The weakspot will be where the wires come out of the led ring... This can be solved with either some hotglue/superglue/silicone etc. For sticking it on, as long as you don't pressure wash your headlights or live in very cold places it will hold. If you have the Xenon headlights then I'd advise against it as the headlight washers will spray directly on it, probably removing the adhesive. I was putting it off for ages because of this same thought, after watching this I think I will do mine soon! Also, I'd probably do the ignition rail instead of the parking light rail as otherwise it will turn off when you turn on your headlights. That way it is literally a DRL instead of a fancy parking light. You would need this if you have the amber and white ones too by the way. Another thing, you can do a very similar thing to the rear too, by using red led strips. There is a very close fusebox (in the trunk/boot) which will have somewhere which is the ignition rail. If you do it then do tell me though, I'd love to see it! Good luck 😀

@@nail9602 well I'd imagine they could come off if you used a high pressure hose against it, although I wouldn't do that anyway. Under normal circumstances it should be fine. You could use a stronger glue, since it is a smooth plastic it should peel off if you use something like silcone to stick it on.

How have these held up? Tempted to do it to my 159 but I cba to open the cluster and do it properly

Yea we were going to do that but plastic units had to be pryed open and I didnt have any silicone on hand to stick them back together although the headlights are still working after being driven through many rainstorms

This is the worst way to install angel eyes, when water reach them your car could burn or they will break u must instal them inside the lens, worst video i've ever saw so far...

Haha, yeah right. BMWs, the most common, boring cars on the road right now. Driven, almost exclusively, by wankers. The Brera is a different league in terms of looks. In recent years, only the I8 can compete for style...
