You know? It reminds me..at age 7 the first car game I played had this wonderful peace of work/Alfa Romeo though I wasn't aware I had such expensive taste and it was the only vehicle I loved out of all of the others 💖

@@939driver I have just fitted a Pioneer (sph-DA160DAB) in my alfa 159, the screen takes up the whole space of the old radio. It's a great upgrade, also sound wise!

Thanks man! Yes you can pull them out. I use a clothing hanger to get behind the center pillar at the back of the vents to safely pull them out

Hi man 🍀 Thank you very much glad it helped you! 🙏 for the radio I use a radio extractor tool, it is basically 2 small rods with which you can pull the radio out easily. I don't have a link as I bought it in a car parts store, but I think if you search for 'radio extract tool' it should show up 💪 Cheers 🍀✌️

Thanks Robert! Airbag haal je los door met een airbag sleutel (of een lange platte schroevendraaier) de klikvingers v.d. airbag achterin los te maken, en vervolgens de bekabeling te disconnecten. Nm was 45 dacht ik, maar even voor de zekerheid opzoeken. Denk uurtje werk zoiets. Gr en thanks, Jim 🍀

Hi again Jim. Did you have ro replace the whole door card just to match the aluminium trim? Is it not possible to remove the trim piece from the original door card and replace with the new piece, rather than replace the whole door card? Many thanks.

Hi Stephen, yes I replaced the entire door card as the trim piece wasn't sold seperately. You could however just replace/swap the trim pieces too. Cheers 🍀✌️

Onest, 2 things: 1. The new steering wheel is superior ! 2. Those seats are brilant...TI version..I try to buy them but hard to... the rest of modyfication doesn't make the car looks better :( But film very good...pozdrawiam.

I want to buy a new centre console trim. Do you know, are there different versions for navi and radio? I had a standart radio but upgraded to a pioneer. Do I have to buy a trim for standard radio, or can I get one for Navi?

I looked for the one I need (brushed alu, standard radio) some time ago, and cheapest I found was a OEM parts dealer in Denmark - 980€ 😂 Until a week ago I went on eBay and voila - I found it for 140€. Seller was in Italy and it took some convincing to send it to Latvia, but we made a deal and now waiting for delivery hoping I have bought the right part😅

That's pretty cool. Are all those parts original? That must have cost a fortune.

Do you by any change know if the Alfa Romeo 159 1.9 mpi from 2007 is a reliable car and how many kilometer I might go with it? Are there any important issues where I must look for? I want buy one. Always drove Opel for many years. Op de forum fanclub las ik dat de JTS serie van de 159 motorisch niet de beste zijn. De mpi kwam wat beter uit de verf. Het stuurhuis is een ding van alle auto voor 2008 volgens de fans en nog een aantal dingen. Maar mischien zie ik nog een belangrijk ding over het hoofd. Ik ga zeker ook even kijken op Ebay of ik straks ook het interieur als nieuw kan maken. De auto die ik op het oog heb heeft 216000 km gelopen. Daar is de prijs ook naar.

1.9 mpi heb ik zelf geen ervaring mee, maar zie deze wel vaak met hogere km-standen te koop staan. Dus ze moeten het wel aan kunnen zo lijkt het. Ik ben wel bang dat je vermogen gaat missen met een 1.9, aangezien de 159 best een zware auto is. Maar als je dat voor lief neemt dan kan het de juiste keus zijn. Let bij de 939 modellen ook op subframe roest. Verder de aandachtspunten zoals bij elke auto. Groetjes

​@@939driver Bedankt voor de informatie! Ik moet zeggen dat ik nog een fout had gemaakt. Ik heb zelfs 'maar'' een 1.8 mpi. Het is een 140 pk motor. Maar nee voor mij niet belangrijk. De wilde jaren zijn achter de rug. Ik ga letten op de mogelijke roest door stevig te kloppen en de proefrit volgt ook nog. Er wordt een nieuwe riem opgelegd en iets met het stuurpomp, stuurhuis waarop de auto wat bijgeluiden maakt. Dit wordt ook verholpen voordat ik hem meeneem. Groet Mark.
