An additional correction: 04/25/14 was the true end for Star Wars. As soon as I heard the original EU timeline was scrapped, Star Wars switched to the 9 film Disney canon, not the traditional 6 film(1977-2005) EU canon that was in effect from '77 to '14.

Luke appearing in Ahsoka is the entire Star Wars franchise jumping the shark. Its not going to work. Its obvious to everyone except Disney that Kathleen Kennedy turned LucasFilm into "revenge fiction" for all her past grievances with George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Nothing can change that.

Ruin Johnson knew that eventually Luke would be the only way to save the franchise-- what he did in TLJ was calculated to put disney into an impossible position. Disney deserves everything they get.

Asoka Season 2 won’t have that anymore as The Acolyte is the Presidential Debate for the franchise. It’s showing everyone, in a way that nobody can deny anymore, that the brand is dead.

All roads lead to the Sequel Trilogy, so whatever the hell Disney and Lucasfilm do, it ain't gonna work.

I think the prequels leaned into it. Mostly because I think they were trying for a monk type kungfu mystique. Since The Force was originally just barrowed mostly from Taoism. I think the Emperor wearing a robe also kind of gave the impression that powerful force users wore robes.

They are trying to do damage control, by bringing in a fan favourite in hopes to bring the fans back, which I don't think it's going to work because the Acolyte did so much damage to the Star Wars lore.

I'm waiting for them to completely reboot Star Wars and replace Luke with a woman, Laura Skywalker. The way Star Wars is going I wouldn't doubt it.

the said fight expert has been mocking lightsaber fights since the prequels. They even suggested a better way to fight with lightsabers years ago.

Just because you have one flashy fight scene doesn't mean the movie is good overall, just look at the Resident evil movies, sure they have good choreography but does that mean the movies were good? Of course not.
