One thing I didn't expect and that I truly loved was how Master Torbin takes the poison willingly, how there was no fight, no struggle, only regret, penance and atonement. I really didn't expect that choice but it really sat well with me.

I'm guessing when we get the flashback (between the Jedi and the coven of witches) we will see an ethical dilemma in which we will both agree with the Jedi's perspective that the situation is unethical, but question whether the Jedi have the right to impose their ethics (our ethics even) on the coven. “Sometimes even the right reasons have the wrong consequences.” - Ahsoka Tano

Hector brought up something that I've noticed about Jedi. He said that she should tell them that she saw a vision. For a bunch of Jedi that see visions in the Force, they either don't know that Jedi have visions or they don't believe when someone says they had a vision. Every time. I mean Sol even taught a class with younglings willingly seeing visions.

Osha misses on purpose you can actually see her pull teh shot up and left right before the trigger pull and then you see the blast go wide left above Mae in the next shot. No ambiguity, Osha isn't a bad shot, she couldn't just shoot the sister she just found. I also thought it was interesting that though we got that scene with Osha seeing Mae in a vision, she was under the impression she was dead. I assumed that it was Mae reaching out through the force. But then in this ep we see she has no idea that Osha is alive. Implication being that someone, probably mystery Sith is sent that vision as some sort of manipulation tactic. That or just an imperfect vision from Osha that was her out of practice force power sensing her sister for the first time. Like Yoda said "through the force, things you will, the future, the past, old friends, long gone." and that was in reference to Luke's visions of his friends in danger, which was also a manipulation to draw Luke to Cloud City. I feel like this Sith may be trying to draw the sisters together for some purpose. The show isn't perfect but I like most of that they are doing and the cast is cool; even Yord the fukboi with the overused killmonger hair. I hope manny jacinto gets more to do, Qirin seems to have some depth to him. He just bluffed a room full of Jedi, so yeah.

The criticism isn't actual criticism. 97% of it are dudes mad that the creator of the show is a woman and said things in the past they don't like along with not having enough white people in the show. It may sound absurd and like I'm making this up but that's just fact. If you're reading this and triggered by what I said then yes, you are probably one of those people. Otherwise I'm not talking to those who offer reasonable criticism.

@HeroesReforged, 19:17 How did Palpatine know he could manipulate Anakin from such a young age? Palpatine successfully befriended Anakin while planting seeds of deception here and there, nudging Anakin towards the Dark Side without the Jedi's notice. How did he know one could escape death? In one of their last interactions as friends, Palpatine told Anakin about the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise, his former master--this story takes place 100 years before the rise of the Empire; Palpatine was 52 in TPM and 65 during RotS. This story could very well be Palpatine's master's story or Plagueis' master's story. Either way, the methods used to sway a powerful Jedi to the Dark Side of the Force was something passed down, and something we are likely seeing here. Why did Anakin have convincing Force Premonitions of his wife dying? Yoda tried telling Anakin that visions in the Force shouldn't be taken at face value, but to Anakin, what he saw was too real to ignore. The first episode showed Osha experiencing a flashback with her sister, but it wasn't just a flashback, as they were having a conversation in the present. This was a one-sided conversation that was very real to Osha, but one that wasn't had with Mae, as Mae still believed that Osha was dead. The Sith Lord pulling the strings has managed to keep "his" identity from Mae. "He" also managed to make the Jedi believe that Mae died, while also making Mae believe that Osha had died too. My guess is that this Sith Lord also gave Osha the Force connection that allowed her to speak with her sister in the flashback. The Jedi at this time are unable to feel manipulations in the Force like the Jedi during the prequels. I think we're seeing the trickery of the same person or the skills of that person at play here. Palpatine shouldn't be alive at this time period if the story is exactly one hundred years before the rise of the Empire as stated, but the person who taught him the skills he used to defeat the Jedi sure is. The Sith Lord we're seeing has small shoulders. I'm not so sure the lord is a he, if human. I think the lord in question is actually a woman. And I think we're hearing a manipulated voice like we heard with Leia when she was undercover as the bounty hunter Boushh. I don't know about you guys, but I hear Carrie Ann Moss' voice being distorted. I would love to be wrong, but every time I re-watch the first episode, I still hear her voice. Did she fake her own death, so that she could fully devote herself to the Dark Side?

We see Torbin in the trailer, his eyes turn black when he was younger, you don’t shake the Sith off, what happened there? Torbin sensed she was alive, why is he waiting ten years to make things right with her, something there doesn’t make sense. The trader is trained, he knew the Sith edict, peace is a lie, he stoped May’s attack, he’s more than he appears to be. Where did he go, he had part in two Jedi being killed and walked 🤔, so much we don’t know, so much that doesn’t smell right and I’m here for all of it. It saddens me to see ao much criticism of this show. The first and second trilogies had plot holes, inconsistencies and dumb choices made... people choose to forget that it is possible. A decade ago all the fanboys were crying about creative choices regarding the force, acting skills, dialogue etc... now all if that is sacred and everything else since 2010 is unworthy. Sometimes i despise this fandom. Bunch of toxi63 year olds

I agree with Adam, the hair and beard (the beard in particular) on Torbin look bad. Probably the worst part of either episode, for me. I was wondering (and maybe y’all could set me straight, given your shared CGI expertise) why they didn’t forego the beard, and let the scars/eye damage carry most of the aging load while maybe thickening up the actors jowls digitally or something else like that. You know how guys get thicker in the neck and throat as they age, usually? Do that kind of thing digitally with the actor, and let the scars/eye damage do the rest of the work aging him. I dunno. It wasn’t bad enough to take me out of the ep or anything, but it was definitely noticeable to me.

I'm like, I'm enjoying this. Let me load up some Twitter or KZread and see what people think and it's just the worst people pissing and s#!@$ themselves over their disingenuous complaints. It's truly a cesspool of ignorance and hate. With the exception of this channel of course.
