The 9 FOODS That Could Destroy Your Health! - Avoid Eating THIS

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Avoid eating these 9 foods, if you care about your health. It’s no secret that there are many foods that have been portrayed as healthy when they actually are bad for you. In this video, you will find foods you should never eat that, presented by Jared Koch, who is the founder of Clean Plates.
The problem with most food is that it is promoted by companies in such a way that it is convincing to most people. Companies use the words “sugar-free” and “all-natural” on their labels, but that doesn’t necessarily ensure that the food is healthy to eat.

Summary:
1 Canned Tomatoes: Canned food contains BPA; which is a toxic chemical that is linked to reproductive abnormalities, increased risk of breast and prostate cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other health problems. The Consumer Report’s testing states that only a couple of servings of canned food can exceed the safety limit for daily BPA exposure for children.
2 Processed Meat: According to a 2011 review of more than 7,000 clinical studies that examined the connection between diet and cancer, processed meats are not healthy and everyone should avoid eating them. This report was commissioned by The World Cancer Research Fund. Koch adds that processed meats are typically made with meats from animals that are raised in animal feeding farms. This means that they are fed growth hormones and other drugs.
3 Margarine: Margarine contains trans-fat, which according to Dr. Mercola, is an unnatural fat. The U.S. Dietary Guidelines states that Americans should consume as little trans-fat as possible. Why? Well according to researchers at the Harvard School of Public Health, they estimate that trans fat causes between 72,000 to 228,000 heart attacks, which includes almost 50,000 fatal ones, per year.
4 Vegetable Oil: Mercola states that vegetable oil is highly processed. Mercola adds that when heated, vegetable oil can cause damage by converting good cholesterol into bad cholesterol by oxidizing it. When the oil is heated and mixed with oxygen, it becomes rancid. This is a chemical that should never be consumed because it can lead to vascular disease. According to WebMD, some vegetable oils can also contain trans fats, which you now know is quite harmful to the body.
5 Microwaved Popcorn: Microwaved popcorn contains perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS). Both these chemicals show up as contaminants in blood, and when heated up, leach onto the popcorn. These chemicals have several health dangers. The first danger is infertility. According to a study that is published in the journal Human Reproduction, researchers found that PFOA and PFOS increased the odds of infertility.
6 Non-Organic Potatoes: If you are looking for healthy fruits and vegetables, buy organic. Under the USDA organic rules, synthetic agricultural chemicals are not permitted in them. With that said though, not all conventionally grown fruits and vegetables have the same pesticide load. In 2013, 48 fruits and vegetables were tested by the Environment Working Group. Potatoes were among those that had the highest pesticide load.
7 Table Salt: Our bodies need salt in order to live. But the table salt that is found in processed foods is not the same as the salt that our bodies need, says Mercola. Mercola adds that processed salt is 98 percent sodium chloride and the other two percent is man-made chemicals such as moisture and added iodine, which is as harmful to the body, like ferrocyanide and aluminosilicate, which can also be found in processed salt.
8 Soy Protein Isolate: Mercola explains that the number one problem with soybeans is that 90-95 percent of them that are grown in the US are genetically engineered so they can create soy protein isolate. They are grown to withstand other lethal doses of herbicide.
9 Artificial Sweeteners: According to a report found in Appetite, artificial sweeteners such as aspartame have the ability to stimulate your appetite, stimulate fat storage and weight gain and increase carbohydrate cravings. The report also proved that aspartame and saccharin were found to cause more weight gain than sugar.

No sugar, no dairy, take nothing processed in the hands of modern men. Take from the hands of nature. Before taking soak fruits and vegetables in baking soda for ten minutes. Buy less cooking gas. Try to select veggies that you can eat raw. Don't take allopathic medicines unless it is an emergency.

I would never put canned tomatoes on a "do not eat" list. First of all, the canned tomato industry has almost entirely moved away from using BPA in the lining of their cans. Canned tomato consumption is linked with a multitude of health benefits, such as reduced risk of heart disease and prostate cancer. Keep eating them! Sharon Palmer, MSFS, RDN

    1. Over 96% of canned tomato products no longer contain BPA. The ones that do are generally imports, so opt for US-grown. 2. Canned tomatoes are "fresher" than fresh, canned within about 5 hours of leaving the field. A far cry from "fresh" tomatoes kept in holding and then sold later when it's not tomato season! 3. Canned tomatoes are also higher in lycopene than fresh, a powerful antioxidant.

I think this list has a serious flaw - canned tomatoes are 100% healthy to eat! The canning industry doesn't use BPA anymore. Plus, canned tomatoes are packed with nutrients and affordable, which means more people can eat more nutritious veggies. Most canned tomatoes in the US go from farm to can in a matter of hours, locking in nutrients at their peak ripeness. -Chelsey Amer, MS, RDN

I'm an RD and would never recommend avoiding canned tomatoes. The industry no longer uses BPA in the canning process, and canned tomatoes have 6x more bioavailable lycopene than fresh. Plus, tomatoes are canned at PEAK freshness, meaning peak nutrient concentration. They are both a nutritious and affordable option.

Jamie Vespa, you are right and I agree with you 100%. Canned tomatoes are perfectly fine and good alternative to fresh. As an avid cook I use the product in many of my dishes. Whether it's paste, sauce, whole or crushed it's something that's essential to your pantry. I don't have time to simmer, skin, seed, mill, strain and cook down a couple of pounds of tomatoes to make a quart or two of sauce. Do you? Not to mention the rest of the meal you have to prepare! Those that think it's BS should do some research before making disparaging remarks!

  • @margaretjaeger2064

    @margaretjaeger2064

The reason why I'd dispute this is...the produce is not at peak, they're often very lightly colored as to ripeness and often a lot ofmgreen...they don't transport well if they're ripe. Then the companies often out the produce in ripening rooms with ethylene gas tomcause them to ripen more. Of course, they're not garnering any more from the ground and plant they were raised in and on. Are they reproducing their minerals in the rotting-ripening process?? I think most people would be shocked at the look of produce as it arrives in the factory or before if sent to a processing house before processing for food factories. When you do it yourself,,you can leave them to ripen on the vine, weather permitting and I'd expect them to be fully developed in essential minerals by that time. Ever see bananas on the bins at grocery stores and see some Christmas green?? They're not the only fruit of veggie. Shipped that way to stores and factories. And if they're not certified organic,,they've received sprays of pesticides and fungicide,,likely. In the small city,,we've had food processing plants for many decades,,maybe even centuries. My relative worked in those processing plants .... they made peanut butter in large vats that are sitting on the floor with big overhead mechanical stirring paddles. It flops out globs of oh on the floor quite often and this relative was assigned to look after a vet and when on slopped over the side to the floor,,he'd ztske a clean stain,Ed's steel shovel,,scoop it up and toss it back in the vat. Other precautions were taken tho in food factories...the floors were scrupulously clean and kept that way and all employees then wore the white lab coats,,the hair coverings and heavy cotton pullovers on their shoes with restricted use on the processing floors only. But the whole process disturbed him so much,,he quit eating on the rest of his life...and it had been his favorite food. That was in the 40's. In the 50's, Mom worked at a 'famous' name cracker factory. She said every day, they had to carefully sift the flours kept in open barrels apparently to get the mouse and cat droppings out of it before using. Factories still kept cats inside their facotories to catch mice but nothing prevent them from marketing their territory when chasing the mice into the flour barrels/bins. Do I imagine things are holy these days in the days of animation..?? No I don't. Factories sort thru veggies as quick as they can on conveyor belts same as the ph did in the 40's and 50's. Many things are missed, bugs, worms, rot, plant parts. So they're granted a certain percent of 'spoil factor' by the FDA to this day. But don't think on it. It might drive you to make your own garden and your own canning. Yes,,very time consuming. Mass producing foods is a BIG job because the difficulties encountered with foods we encounter at home too but in a minute way.

You can do your popcorns HEALTY AND NO OİL. WİTHOUT MİCROWAVE. But it might be small portions. Put your popcorns in a small pan. Don't put oil just shake the pan often. Wait 15 seconds and shake the pan. Repeat,repeat,repeat... İf you will use a big pan it will be hard to shake. İf you don't shake it,your pan might burn. Because it hasn't oil in it. Be patient. It take longer time than the regular popcorns. This is optinal but you can use some salt.(Sorry for bad English.)

...while I agree with organic grown foods as well as organically raised poultry and meats , buying organic/naturally produced/grown foods is often much more expensive and often beyond the budget of many who are on low and fixed incomes. As to canned tomatoes, fresh tomatoes are usually much more expensive per pound than the equivalent weight in say canned crushed tomatoes. To yield the same volume of crushed tomatoes or sauce requires a greater amount of fresh ones as a good percentage of a tomato is simply water. So say, to make a 24 oz. of crushed tomatoes for a pot of pasta sauce by hand could take almost three pounds of fresh tomatoes costing far more than the canned variety (and there is also the time involved as well which many working people just don't have). Furthermore many food companies (particularly organic ones) have been eliminating BPA coatings in their cans and other packaging.

Agreed, but where on earth can you get Nitrite‐free bacon? The FRAUD & DECEPTION ADMINISTRATION should have been banned years ago. It's purely a tool of a corrupt Government - that also sprays nanoparticles of metals like aluminium, mercury, and strontium onto our organic soils with their Chemtrails. So we eat the toxins, as well as breathe them in. The metal particles also get incorporated into the roots of trees & bushes - that's why forest fires burn brighter/longer/stronger than ever before, and are much harder to put out.
