Secret technique: "I would've won last patch" -Makes it seem like your character got unfairly nerfed -No way/very hard to verify. The patch Is gone. -Triple effectiveness if your audience doesn't play the game in question. -If you play on the previous version and lose, combo into "I kept getting the versions mixed up."

It's important to remember if a laggy match was really was good on your end, that's because it was your connection that sucked and you were never the one whose game was stuck waiting for your opponents inputs like they were.

The most classic phrase in fighting game history is still: *"I think my controller is broken."* You can't deny it, 99-100% of people who ever touched a fighting game said this line once in their life.

For the lag response one of the most soul crushing things I've ever seen was Cloud805 losing his 200+ game win streak to some super, SUPER laggy random masher. That one hurt.

back in the gears of war days on 360 when you would play online a player on either team would be the host for the match and basically have no lag. If you ever lost a gun fight or any exchange it didn't matter you would just say "HOOOOST".

You forgot the "well, I got a real job" (implying you don't have time to practice every match-up): +No counter +Is simultaneously defensive and offensive. -Can only be used against people without "a real job".

Beware, the "I blocked that." defense is easily countered by, "Alright let's check the tapes.." Replay mode is not your friend.😂

I like to go with the "my hands are cold" technique. It's not my fault it's so cold right now.

You forgot the "I dont main x" OS. Beware though, if he asks you to run it, be sure to bail. "I have work" will do, as it shows that not only is his win false, but that you're all about that rise and grind too, all about that bread.

1) mash 2) cheese 3) do the predictive stuff if they can't deal with it anyway 4) do 'something that's too predictive that the opponent doesn't expect it to come' mixup 5) just adapt and win lol

All great advice. But you gotta be careful with #5, because there is one counter OS. You need to test your opponent's wit by talking shit during button check. If they're swift, don't use the defensive IDEPTG. Cuz if they read it they might counter with the OS. You: I don't even play this game! Them: Obviously, son.

My controls weren't working And if they were, you were playing dishonorably And if you weren't, you were playing without skill And if you were, it's not fun to play that way And if it is, you only care about winning
