I totally agree with your opinion. I love the A-4, and the OV-10 fits right in with the era. Both are great aircraft, if flown against threats of the period. The OV-10 was replaced by several countries by the A-29, which makes it an easy transition. As a COIN aircraft it is superb! Love flying all three, although the A-4 has the most stick time.

We need the new UK Tempest to be modded into the dcs world...! Cant wait for that one ✌🏼

I agree with your assessment, however I would like to add one more and that is a helicopter, the Black Hawk UH-60L as it is a fantastically detailed and they are steady working at increasing it's abilities and functionality.

My big issue with the UH-60L is that the flight model seems to be pretty quirky, but maybe that's just me.

@@SpinosSimulations I'm not a helo guy so I can't agree or disagree, I have limited experience in them, but from what I've read, there are many who say it is one of the best modules out there with the developer working to add much more. So I have it, and fly it, I like it and it's got a lot of detail in it, just sayin. ;)

I think the IA-58 Pucara mod is very good too.

No T-45 Hercules or UH-60L the OV-10 flight model needs work and the Tucano cockpit is not up to par.

You concentrate just on flyable aircrafts mods, there are a lot of worthwhile Mods of other types that you didn't even mention, like the 476th VFG Target Objects, the SAM Site Assets Mod, the Civil Aircrafts Mod, the VPC Airfield objects Mod, the NATO soldiers Mod, the Frencpack Mod, the Military Aircrafts Mod, the Special Mission Aircrafts, etc, etc

A-29s cockpit is rough...

F-104 is a must for this list ! Its flight model and general feel is superior !

@@Simmer4Decades No, it was not an AGM-122. I wish the OV-10 had the 122, but it doesn't even have an RWR, so I'm not sure you could even employ it without equipment that the Bronco never had. I was using the Sidewinder as a very expensive unguided rocket. It's surprisingly accurate thanks to those rollerons on the fins.

IRL it can have two pilots, but as modeled in DCS it doesn't have multicrew, at least for now

I think the t45 has a lot better flight model than the tucano

It does, the Tucano just has weapons capability and the T-45 does not. I wish someone would make a Hawk with real AG weapons.

Yes actually, works rather well against soft targets because of the large warhead.

@@zihad2133 There's a reason top-attack anti-tank missiles exist. Roof armor on both the hull and turret of pretty much any tank is very thin and doesn't stand up to much in the way of high explosives. Sure the armor in the front and in the turret sides/front is very tough, but the Sidewinder blast would go through the thinner roof armor without much trouble.

Mod is short for modification. Mods are not functioning without some other modules they are modded from. What we see on these videos are non-official modules. They are standalone. Dont need any other module to work.
