This is an awesome board. Just rode it for the first time, in soft conditions, paired with the Bent Metal Cor-pro. Coming from the Eco Impossible, which I've ridden for over 7 years now, this is such a fun upgrade. It has the playfulness of the Eco Impossible--I was doing jumps and popping pillows in no time. But, it is also stiffer and that added stability gives you the confidence to charge down the mountain, if you must. I had so much fun with this thing, by the end of the day I had managed to convince myself that I am riding like Blake Paul. Very happy with it. Would definitely recommend.

I have the 2023 159W. I'd say it's a tiny bit stiffer than I'd like at 185lbs, but it's still playful and a super energetic carver. It launches you out of carve, with the back foot doing most of the work on the exit like Angry says. Impressive and smile-inducing.

Im on the same boat. As I own GNU RC C3 as daily driver on groomers, park and jumps. I want smth little more directional, keep freestyle aspect and have a good float in occasional pow rides around resort. I also own Riders choice C2x which has good float and I like that profile but obviously being twin it’s not ideal for quick turns and playfulness in pow. Was thinking about Jones Hovercraft 2.0 (I guess it’s too directional and stiff-flex), Mind Expander or GNU Banked Country. I like riding switch. Out of above would you recommend Hyper for my quiver mostly for pow fun ?

Hey Angry, I start listening to your videos mainly because I work in a factory and got already tired of my music and other Podcasts. And have to say that top 5 crack me up 😂 I am 36, 5,8f 180pounds and bought a GNU Hyper 157 50% off with force bindings. Coming from a Rossi Krypto 159 with mission binding, I am stoked to try the new Quiver, but nervous about that C2x camber and softer flex... I like side kicks, med jumps, mainly carves and play in Pow, only air tricks are grabs, not fun of riding switch.. lately I am just getting around 15 days a season on the snowboard (Norway) 😕.. PS: I would love an Angry sticker in my toilet 🚽 Really like my Krypto and how handdle pow, carves and landings. Last board of the Quiver is the SplitBean, for mellow missions with my dog

Coming from a Capital Merc... Love the Merc but just not my style coming from a surf/wake background. just recently bought a LT Wayfinder and love the C2 profile. The playful surfy feel is my Jam. Looking for the Hyper to be more of my Daily/Groomer/non POW days. I'm in the PNW (mostly Batchelor). Thoughts on size? 6'3" 210 size 10 boot. Love the 155 Wayfinder, looking at 157/159w/160. I mostly ride trees but like exploring all over the mountain.

I’m 5’11” 165-70 w/ 10.5 boot. I was thinking 160, but saw that you demoed 157. Would you recommend the 160 or 157?

If you are an east coaster mostly on hard how does that C2X with a stiffer board flex handle flat like cat tracks and flatter sections? Are you always teeter tottering unless you stay on edge all the time? With a softer board it is not a big deal because the tips push down but just wondering about this one. Also is this thing OK switch? Not all the time obviously but can it hand it some for landing switch some?

Great review! I just ordered this board🤩 this will be my first «non-beginner» board. I am not very good, probably in the lower intermediate with regards to skill level. I chose this board as I think I want to move in the freeride direction and become better at carving and going fast. I am a little unsure about which bindings to go with. I have sort of landed on the Bataleon Blaster, but there are two different «wraps» the Asymwrap and the Fullwrap. Do you have a recommendation out of the two? Or maybe there has been released a new pair of bindings since this video?

I just recieved my brand new Gnu Hyper🤩 along with the Bataleon Blaster binding. My boots are size 8,5 and the binding are M/L and according to the size chart, my boots should fit. But when the bindings are adjusted to the smalles setting I still have visible more heel hang than toe. Approx between 2-2,5 hang on heel and 1cm hang on toe… I am thinking that this is to much difference between toe and heel hang. What do you think? The local shop has two available binding in stock that i am considering swapping into, the Union Force and Ride C6. Any recommendations?😇 I am heading for the mountains on friday to test my new board🤩🤞

I like an easier to handle board but I got this for more float compared to the 157.5 riders choice. Hoping I didn’t make a mistake as I had a 159w freeride board in the passed and it was just too much for me to control. 170lbs rider 6” and 10.5 boots. 157 or 160? I have a 156 tho that i enjoy riding so i'm not shy of bigger boards. I demo'd the 154 hyper the other day and i loved it but i wish it was in 155 or 156.
