@Michael M. I do believe you mean the Jeep TrackHawk.. which is not a luxury vehicle, and as such the Cullinan is not meant to go fast, like the 707hp TrackHawk. Thats like comparing a generic work truck to a Hyundai Sonata, and then calling the Sonata driver an "idiot" for not being able to haul a couple 2x4s. They are not in the same class.

Aarnav Verma an umbrella as the Vowel sound is heard at the beginning of the word. For the word, hour, it (an hour) because the H is silent. More bazaar, its a University. The Cullinan is Buckingham Palace in wheels. Not sure what they'll do when they finally make Versailles on wheels.

Most of the “luxury touches” fall into the category of cost very little to make, can charge exorbitantly for them as conversation pieces/status symbols. Others fall into the category of a lot of work for very little benefit. And still others fall into the category of kinda cool the first time, then you have to keep doing them to convince yourself you love it even though they’re really just meh.

For a second I was worried that Doug was going to hit the front door with the waving umbrella phew. Awesome video, thanks mate! From Brisbane, Australia. Love all your videos! For me your channel and Mat Watson (carwow) are without a doubt the most creative car reviewers on youtube hands down and of course, you both have very different styles of presentations but equally interesting and creative content. I don't understand his reasoning that the umbrella is the reason, as it would work just as well from the other direction. The doors are rear hinged because it makes it easier to get in and out, as the passenger can exit forward, and thus avoid having to turn and potentially flash up their skirt should the paps be waiting. It also allowed chauffeurs to open the door easier, but I think that was mainly for Taxis where the driver could open the door without getting out.

@@imnotamechanic3491 Don't overthink it...RR introduced reverse-hinge doors with the Phantom VII in 2003 (having last had them in the 60s) as a bit of old-world theatre to differentiate from the then-new Maybach. It's all about brand & marketing not practicality. It's actually more awkward for a chauffeur as they can't just pull the rear door from just outside the driver door; he has to walk past the rear door almost to the trunk before pulling it open to avoid blocking the person trying to get out.)

My 04 truck has a 6disk changer. Always thought it was cool. But this is absurd. Surprised the rear fridge doesn't have a button to electronically open and close the door. So many darn electronics in these luxery vehicles now adays

I'm even happier that my 98 Fiat starts when I turn the key.

I'll be impressed with the starry night headliner when it can also do sunrise and sunset, show clouds and planes flying overhead. All of which my car's windows and sunroof can do :-)

It is probably GPM, not MPG, although that does make this thing have to stop at the stinky pleb gas stations, which is unfortunate. For this price, they should have provided in-motion refueling capabilities.
