I was fortunate enough to see this car in person at a display at Watkins Glen for the 6 hours. It's such an impressive machine to behold. It's so purposeful, yet so beautiful. The car that finally took down the mighty 962 had to be special.

Saw this car at Riverside... Greatest Nissan , crushed all the 962 Porsche’s...so much power the cylinder was welded to the block...

I can't describe what it was like to watch Geoff in the Nissan battle Davy Jones in the Jag at Portland Int Raceway....Amazing! Camel GT every summer was the shit..I was probably 11-12 years old running around the pits with my best friend rocking Camel hats. Hanging out in the Camel tent playing slot cars. I'd really like to see them add Willy T Ribbs AAR Toyota GTO or a Rouch Mustang and Davy Jones Jag.

Bought this thing yesterday, Geoff Brabham's desrciption of 'rocket ship' fits very, VERY. well

Thanks for sharing another long video on content being delivered to the iRacing platform. Really enjoying these.

I'm liking these mini documentaries. I just wish iRacing had a system where you could try the car before buying. Even if it was just in the test environment for a day. I dont want to spend money on a car I might hate. Like I did with the F1 car.

Use testdrive.iracing.com/ when the main site is in maintenance mode. Make sure you have downloaded the cars you want to drive before maintenance though.

You can test the cars you don't own too!!! You just have to make sure you downloaded them in advance ...And what's with the attitude? Please learn to read! Not everybody is willing to spoon feed you! Jeezzz

No attitude, its just a dumb system. The fact you can't easily download the car you haven't bought and then having to wait for the whole site to be down for maintenance before using it. They should have an easier way to try before you buy.

I understand you. It would be more ideal if every subscriber is entitled to 5 test laps in every car before buying. But I think current system is not that bad. If everybody could drive every car at every moment it would hurt sales. There are a lot of people on iRacing that just do lone trips around the track and never drive in a competition. For them it would be free cars. Besides, most factory produced race cars can't be driven in a test drive either (unless you have connections).

This thing has one speed "GO"! Great video!

Now we need the Porsche 956, Sauber C9, MAZDA 787B and Jaguar XJ-9.

Omg yes. I would instantly resub. if they started adding in the prototypes, vintage and new...especially new.

What a nice video and interview! I wish iRacing had more and more vintage cars.

It might have been 'some' years when this content was released but could we get some additions to IMSA vintage series? :D

They sure do put up a good arguement for me to renew my subscription...

Nissan late 80s to early 90s, was probably if you want a touring car and prototype prep machine from Japan, it surely had to be. The Rs, the ZXTs, the Godzilla GTR

This car is beautiful but its just like the Audi that got released, why do we need it? There are so many unfinished series in the game and now they are adding more. We only have 2 gt2 cars, an unfinished gt3 category, the V8 supercars need the updated falcon and the volvo s60 and nissan altima. They should worry about finishing these current series while adding these dream machines.

Exactly, its why some of the other sims like assetto and rf2 are better because you can mod the game and add the cars and tracks you want and make some exciting series

I cannot understand why this car and the Audi GTO are wasted in that Kamel class. Add a Nissan and Mustang GTO and another GTP car like the Jag and this series would be a blast!

Is Porsches exclusive deal with EA over? I've seen the AC announcement earlier this year, but I don't know if they got the Porsche license from Porsche or EA.

EA deal is over since few month and yes i will keep dreaming. to have the Porsche logo, they must have an agreement from the brand.

yep, since iRacing has a smaller number of players compared to Gran Turismo or Forza, they really need to focus on fewer classes to keep the races full. Especially when in iRacing you can't be competitive if you drive to many classes. But the temptation is great to try everything ^^
