Some people have a Psychological disorder that is about the way they perceive theirselves, not so different from Anorexia. A ton of people look fine and yet, they keep exceeding with the scalpel. It scares me to think that P.Surgery can become an addiction to the point of disfiguring. And it is very sad!

The vampire lady you 1st talked about. With the tatts and horns.....i read her story in a tattoo magazine a few years ago. I admire her because she came out of an abusive marriage and has children. And instead of staying the victim shrinking away from the world and having that "oh woah is me!" Attitude.....she rose up and found her voice and became stronger for her kids. She did the very thing all women who survive an abusive relationship with should do. STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES! POWER TO HER!!!!! SHES MY KIND OF WOMAN!

I don't find it funny.. Dennis changed his looks because he didn't want to be like everyone else he didn't want to look like all the other butthole humans that bullied and tormented him. He committed suicide and he's dearly missed. María José Cristerna isn't a disaster. Her modifications were done with a purpose that means something to her. The tattoos and modifications are her armor. I personally think she is a beautiful warrior who decided not be a victim of domestic violence, but a survivor. Besides that, she is also a mother and a lawyer. Guess what happened to me out of the blue one cold November morning? The onset of my genetically inherited anxiety disorder! Now I get crippling panic attacks for literally no reason and my life is a fearful series of decisions keeping me as close to home or a bathroom as possible so I can have privacy to deal with attacks. And that's an anxiety disorder. Depression is literally just as random.

Exactly my thoughts! The Korean woman who injected herself with cooking oils is a prome example of what's wrong with almost all pf these folks. They havedeveloped such issues with tthwir own self images that they refuse to believe doctors who tell them to stop, sometimes taking matters into their own hands.

Hair to clothes if we didn't we'd all have messed up hair and wear rags some are just more drastic than others The first woman was also named "mother of all vampires" when I was younger the way she expressed herself actually helped me out in my teens I absolutely adored her

I love the humour in these videos.

I was REALLY mad at just the Vampire Lady being on this list. Her transformation had a lot to do with her surviving the domestic abuse and the freedom of getting away from it, something you should know about all too well. She alone decided to do all of those body mods, and as a tattooed and formerly pierced woman and advocate for body mod acceptance, I am still a little offended by the use of 'disasters' for this list when things like transforming yourself for self expression and it turning out how they want it is so far from a disaster it's painful. I admire the Vampire Lady for her kindness and just how tough she is when it comes to all that work and survival. I admire the lizard Boy because he is being himself and is un-apologetically open about it. And I admire Stalking Cat for all the work he did to feel more comfortable in his own body and connecting with a part of himself that he felt he needed to connect with and express more.

I actually met the Lizard Man at the Royal Easter Show a couple years ago. I had my picture taken with him too and I had a great conversation with him. He's my favourite one of the Freak Show group.

Because they feel unloved and unattractive probably. That's what most people would do because they don't think they look pretty or handsome enough to be loved so they decided to have plastic surgery to make them look more attractive. But, to be honest, everyone is handsome or pretty in their own way so there will be someone who actually thinks they look attractive just the way they are. I mean, I ain't pretty, but I would never have plastic surgery to make myself look better.

I understand that some people have things that they don't like about themselves. been there. But what they have had done, that how can they thing this is good...? That it's an improvement. Some cant seem to help themselves.i hope those that have done this and really wanted this is happy now. Bless them.
