The #1 Habit All Successful People RUN DAILY! (You Need To DO THIS Everyday) | Vishen Lakhiani

On Today's Episode:
Is your ultimate goal about how much money you earn? Is it about the lifestyle you provide for yourself and your family? In the grand scheme of things we know that money doesn’t bring you joy, and it is far better to chase fulfillment and joy, and yet you may still think fulfillment and joy are boring.
Optimizing yourself to execute at higher levels of success requires that you spend time growing as a person in all major areas of your life. Your physical health, your mind, your mental and emotional health are all areas to focus on, and Vishen Lakhiani, CEO of Mindvalley and best selling author is changing the way people access customized education.
Vishen is back with Tom on this episode to discuss the number one habit successful people have that we should adopt, but that most of us won’t. He wrote The Code of the Extraordinary Mind, The Buddha and the Badass, and now he’s released a method he’s been perfecting for years called The 6 Phase Meditation Method. Contributing in a meaningful way to society is what lays at the root of your desire for money and for lifestyle. Growing with expedience and intention is a tool that allows you to get there.

“The number one habit is actually not a habit at all. It is a belief that leads to a habit. And that belief is that the number one thing in your life is your rate of growth.” [0:23]
“We get stuck on this bullsh*t hamster wheel chasing the dollars trying to grow in our career when none of that sh*t matters. It’s all about us as a multidimensional human being and are we growing.” [2:26]
“If growth and contribution are the pathway to fulfillment, growth is the accelerator.” [4:29]
“Just because we can’t explain how something works right now doesn’t mean we can’t leverage or use it, and I believe intuition is one of those things.” [8:39]
“We are more deeply connected than we think,” [16:43]
“I believe there is something called intuition and in some way all human beings are connected.” [22:43]
“If you can increase your compassion and your kindness, it improves productivity at work, it makes you a better leader, [...] and it also makes you live longer.” [35:00]
“Entrepreneurs are basically athletes building a product.” [51:53]
“Happiness doesn’t just make us feel good, it’s rocket fuel for productivity…” [54:15]

Is it that we live in an environment that is comprised of things that are both themselves and their opposites simultaneously? Is it possible that we are supported from the bottom up by the evolution of a multitude of hierarchies and given consciousness from the quantum field? Could it be that these 2 come together inside the glial and neurons of our brain? Is the real issue that it's all true and the only thing that differentiates is our individual perception?

Holy crap! I swear to god I made that comment before I got to the part of this episode where he mentions Ken Wilber. I’m not saying we must be connected in some quantum way, but he must’ve been saying some things that got the “Ken Wilber” circuits firing in my brain. I made that comment, got in the shower, heard him mention Ken Wilber from the shower and had to jump out to make this new comment. That’s so funny!

I don't think Tom understand what Vishen is trying to express here. And, he is so strong on his own point of view. Look at his words:- This is my point....this is what I think!!! Omg...if I got an interviewer talked like that. I would like....ok, you just do an interview on your point of view! I am so in awe with Vishen patient, this man definitely meditate well to have this kind of compassion, understanding and patience.

Ok, there used to be Impact Theory programs, where Tom would interview people. They were up to 1 hr long, less, mostly. Then! Tom said something like: "well, I want a new format of Impact Theory, the debate format. I want to question and test guest's views on a subject and to align it with objective truths". Now we have longer Impact Theory videos, where Tom has conversations with his guests. He does not just interview them. In all fairness, I sometimes do not like this format too. However! People, who r giving their opinions at this comment r mistaking a debate with an interview. This is not an interview, guys! If u want to hear Vishen interviewed, go check his interviews. Or!!! Interview him yourself. Statement: "if I was interviewed..." make me laugh so much!!! How many times WERE u interviewed?? 😅 Vishen is insisting on something "paranormal", if u would. Of course, these views must b tested! So, there u have it.

Tom, you really gotta open your mind, let go of boundaries, and really hear what this guy is saying. There is ZERO doubt in my mind based on personal experience, not to mention endless examples and studies available for review clearly showing that our thoughts can and do affect others near and far and not just other people, but other plants and animals too.

Tom”skepticism on our connectedness and ability to impact or communicate our loved ones took me by surprise! I’ve had so many phone calls from my mom or sisters or children or friends, just when I was thinking of them! I liked that Vishen conceded that we have slight impact and not necessarily control others. Having lost my husband to cancer, I thought I could pray and love him back to wellness. I accepted that the individuals intention, fears and desires are ruled by them They feel your pull and power, and may not let themselves go to the next realm or level without your permission because they feel your love and pain too. Give them space to choose their own path. I definitely grew spiritually after my husbands death. So many instructors and teachers have come into my life once I opened that door to accepting reincarnation and quantum energy principles.

Coached to visualize in sports in the early 70’s. Also believe in positive thinking….love for others, thinking of love for others I believe helps people recover from poor health even if it is temporary. My mom was given 2 weeks to live. I brought her home, took away all cancer medicine, and stayed by her side for weeks. She lived for another year and got into a wheelchair to go to weddings (2) and to see visitors. I believe that love works.

I am a physicist and very opinioniated about this subject. It's really difficult to keep an open mind while studying how the universe works following the scientific principle and not dismissing anything that science doesn't have an answer for. Especially given all the crackpots and people saying their theory is better Einstein, with children's level math as proof. However, your quote that spirituality is nothing but that what physics has yet to find an equation for really summarizes how I think of this. Why shouldn't for example an afterlife be bound to laws of physics as well? Just physics we don't know of yet. Also, this makes spirituality more or less the same as string theory: both unproven theories. Just rooted from different philosophies.

We have no problem with seeing a video phone receiving from across the planet…transmitting instantly. But the possibility of our thoughts transmitting in a similar way is too much? Everything is energy! Including our thoughts. I think we still have so much to learn about our minds and souls. We have no problem understanding water evaporation and knowing it transforms. But for us we feel we vanish. I am convinced we are a lot more than we currently see.

Love this interview, the fact that they have different beliefs systems made it interesting Tom Bilyeu has to fully understand something before he will buy into it but the truth is there are just simply things why don’t fully understand yet that can be beneficial to us, people literally logic ideas to death, you dont know everything so things may not be true for you but can be true for someone else that’s why we have free will to believe what we choose to believe to be clear I agree with Vishen I do think Tom is stuck in his belief system Vishen perspective is more expansive the study’s that he mentions prove a lot but the most important aspect of them is that’s there is just simply things that’s happening that we can’t explain yet

Tom, my understanding of why Growth is so important : As you grow , you expand, you become bigger than your egoic self. As you expand ( not in egoistic terms ), you become universe and universe becomes you. In terms of sending love and compassion to other people works on the same principle. Most of the time I have fallen sick , my mum had a dream and called me to check if I was ok. Interconnectedness ( Undonciditonal love ) is one possible reason that might explain this phenomena. So if we expand this logical thinking : Unconditional Love/Compassion for every sentient being, that would give that intuition of understanding pain of every sentient being ( which is our true essence ). This then expands to knowing the true essence of our soul/spirit and reaching nirvana.

When we dream…we are receiving from an “outside source.” Their is a greater power which is “The Source” and we just need to tap into it. It’s our intuition, our ideas, and everything is connected. Just like you are receiving this KZread video from “the ether” you receive the energy from The Source. In my opinion. 😊

Just wondering why as a YT viewer -- I feel like cringing watching both of you in this conversation :) I've seen friendlier conversations from other interviews. My take is that if someone is invited as a guest , the interviewer would listen and give the invited guest the "floor" or the stage. It's like inviting a guest to your home -- and giving him the floor to showcase what he wants to give. In this convo, Vishen is the guest ! We don't argue with a guest who we invited, and who took time to visit our "home" .

My view in the past was similar to Tom’s. If I can’t make sense of it, therefore it’s not true or it doesn’t make sense. I went through life being scared of certain things that didn’t make sense. Things like Premonitions. As I got older, it was happening more often. I also started picking up on negative energies that I could only describe as a pit in your stomach knowing that a particular person is up to something. I can zero in on a person at a busy store and know to watch out. Then I lost my only child and everything I felt growing up made more sense. Her energy was so strong when she passed, then when she was here. I was a typical non believer of mediums and would have never believed it, until her death. I realized I’m what’s called a claircognizant. I never asked for it and yet I often wonder why am I given this ability. What’s the point? Now, I accept it and am grateful of this knowing.

Hi Tom, love your show and love topics, I am not a scientist or even claim to know anything, however I do believe all humans are connected and can speak to each other without words. Because I am as simple minded person, please take few minutes and consider this: you will be speaking on the phone with someone and you yawn trying to hide it from the person yet immediately they will yawn also automatically> pretty sure the scientist and genius of the world who believe they understand the universe ,will say , you are tired, your lungs need more air... frankly this is a form of human communication that needs to be study...think for a minute how many time have you though of someone and within a short period that person will call? it's amazing what can happened when we stop seeing everything is tangible.

change your life in one hour... learn to sit in solitude. Learn to not move when life hits you in the face. learn to sit down and just handle life on life's term or your own thinking for one hour... see how crazy you really are with your own thoughts... good luck to all!

Excellent interview Tom! I loved this one and I also thought it was great that you were trying to understand things that Were being discussed and that you 2 didn’t agree on everything. I think it’s great to disagree with kindness and openness! It was really nice to see a REAL interview with some great points! I love the visualization thoughts. I think we can “think” our way in and out of some things, maybe not big stuff but our mind is very powerful! Great great interview!!! Thank you for always making an IMPACT 💪🏼🙌✨

Right or wrong, this is a great dialogue; I enjoyed how far it stretched and challenged both sides. Bottom line is that if it works for me, it serves the purpose. The dialogue itself serves the purpose. I personally been practicing the 6 steps for a week ( a meditator from scratch), and I am living transformation so for me, this is working and look for more on the ‘how coming from the outside works’👌IMPACT

IMPACT. I am currently changing my life. My mind, myhealth, my ability to serve others. This conversation overlaps my hypothesis that brain wave states, induced by mediation, breathwork, Qui Gong, Tha Chi, Kung Foo, allow for transformation of our beliefs , with greater speed and TOTALITY. How this can be applied for us to live to our fullest potential.

Back in the '80s, my mom lived in Mexico and I was living in Arkansas. Of course at the time there was no email and so we wrote paper letters and put them in the mailbox and sent them. We both kind of procrastinated about writing, and then we would write each other on the same day and mail our letters on the same day. Sometimes it would get annoying because we couldn't answer the other one's letter because we hadn't read it yet. I've had other times when things like this happen but that particular time it was quite strong.

I find the idea of the blind watchmaker fascinating. I’ve learned to watch makers never seen a time piece. Intuition does not necessarily need to have been exposed to that which it has cognitive information outside of previous exposure or rational knowledge

Ok. I had many dreams on things, subjects, places, and languages, that I have zero references for. I mean in great detail where I have zero movies, etc. I honestly believe our dreams can cross into other’s dreams and into a higher source. Start paying attention to your dreams. There is an outside source.

These guys are absolutely amazing in their fields, helping us all evolve and stretch our minds and excepting and contemplating each concept. I wonder if they are kind of representative of the difference between intuitives and sensors 🤔 just a thought

Sixth sense, intuition🤔... whatever it is...I didn't believe in it...until the day I was studying abroad in CA. While attending my classes on campus one of my sandals broke down. So, I decided to remove both sandals and walked most of the day foot-naked at the University. The next day, my mother, who was in Spain, phone-called me worried...telling me to buy clothes or shoes, if I needed, because she had a strange dream that night. In her dream, she saw me walking without shoes!! At that moment, I had goose bumps all over my body😳😱

Very much love this interview and discussion between two truly engaged individuals. as a teenager I was fascinated by the ability of horses to communicate telepathically, which Henry Blake observed and described in his books (e.g. "Horse Sense", first published 1979) I beliefe there are many examples in the animal kingdom and human experience. Telepathy can still not be explained scientifically, can it?

I love you Tom but I think this is the first time you kinda missed the point(s). Growth is always the Prime Essential thing. Once a 'goal' of any type is reached it is no longer a goal and requires new momentum (viz the setting of a new goal/benchmark) to satisfy the 'soul'. Quantum physics supports this idea that Expansion is Universal and Everlasting. Also, when you've experienced a 'download' personally, you will understand what Vishen means when he's explaining the views on 'magic' and 'religion' and how confusing it is to the purely rational Western way of thinking. I would have given my right arm to be in the room with you two for this discussion! As always, Great Interview!
