DO THIS Daily Habit To Manifest ABUNDANCE & SUCCESS! | Vishen Lakhiani & Jay Shetty

Today, I talk to Vishen Lakhiani. Vishen is an author and entrepreneur in the ed-tech space. He is the founder of Mindvalley, an education technology company building a new model for human education that aims to give everyone the same quality of life. Mindvalley creates tech and platforms that power online academies in areas that traditional education ignores. These include mindfulness, personal growth, wellness, spirituality and more. His quest is to help move humanity to a more holistic, integrated education system that caters for the whole being.
Vishen, joining us again for another soulful conversation, strongly believes that compassion is what gives us real and genuine happiness. As he explains why compassion is the foundation to achieving all things positive in our life, how self compassion reinforces self love which leads to self care, and the disciplines we must practice so we can attain genuine happiness. We also dive into the definition of sadness, changing our perspective to turn sadness into love and compassion, and the importance of having a vision of the future, of having a clear idea of the path you want to make and take.
No matter how far and long our life goals may be, self compassion and being compassionate towards others will eventually lead to having a peaceful, content, and well-meaning life.
What We Discuss:
00:00:00 Intro
00:03:31 What was your first meditation experience?
00:06:53 How do you use meditation in your life?
00:13:18 Compassion is something you do for yourself
00:18:48 When did we lose compassion?
00:22:03 Compassion as a technique and a quality of being
00:24:08 What is happiness?
00:28:40 Channeling sadness into love and compassion
00:29:53 How do you stop sadness from turning into guilt?
00:33:45 How to avoid having narcissistic tendencies
00:35:34 Have a vision for the future
00:42:21 Don’t get held back by old things
00:47:46 What defines a good meditation?
00:50:02 Testing the parameters of your destiny

This is financial advice and I never give financial advice: DONT LEAVE DURING THE BEAR. If you don’t want to invest…learn. If you don’t want to learn…build. If you don’t want to build observe. DO SOMETHING…other than leave. There is so much opportunity here. Take advantage!

I have never left a comment before but I just felt compelled to show support. As soon as the conversation started to flow I experienced a surge of emotion and tears fell as I felt in every cell the truth of what I was hearing. Thank you, for inspiring me today and lifting my vision. I was told by a past friend that I was not a meditator, the impact on me was so deep, I was confused by that, but in this moment the truth of who I am and who I have always been flooded my mind, body and spirit. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I was listening to my daily affirmation videos and this video started playing (youtube is on autoplay). From the moment the conversation started, my intuition told me to keep listening to this and I did just that. I am glad that I did because everything that you and Vishen talked about resonated with me. I have been meditating yet I still feel and feel like I have no purpose in life. But I think the universe wanted me to come across this video to remind me to keep going. I am on the right path and to be consistent. I am so glad I came across this video.

Life hit me pretty hard. I'm actually coming up with a resource that helped me become the man I am today. I used to live in Miami being around street violence, guns, death, and I even lived in L.A and I used to eat $3 a day, 25 cents noodles, expired toast and canned campbell tomato soup. I survived the Boston Marathon Bombing which was a few feet away where I saw all the blood the people screaming and I was alone at 18. I also used to live in a room with no kitchen, trash bag as a window and bugs crawling on me at night. Bu then I took on boxing to protect myself and learned how to defend myself against bigger threats. I learned to change my whole mindset and to be comfortable in the silent chaos by literally studying my pain. Now I live in a cabin in the north of Sweden where I go down to a lake to breathe and heal my past and I post on KZread to help others who need it the most 💜🙏🏽 You can visit my channel by clicking on my icon if you want, I would love your feedback

The most beautiful podcast I’ve heard. Everyday we live to see is a success. We don’t have to attach success to a big grand thing, the little things of life are success.

All I can say is wow. For me this is when intention meets opportunity. I have never left a comment before but I cannot listen to this and not share. This unlocked a restlessness I’ve been feeling for sometime now but I struggled expressing exactly what it is that I’m searching for. I’m so excited for the journey I’m about to go on to learn more. Thank you

I have learned so much over the past week listening to all the inspiring, admiring people that have a lot of wisdom to share. I am trying to make it a goal to listen to 1 or 2 episodes s a day since I am on summer vacation. I just ordered the 6-Phase method book and can't wait to start reading it tomorrow when it arrives. I learn a lot from just each episode of yours but that's why I prioritize making time to listen to them since I just want to learn as much as I can and grow as an individual to better my life in all aspects. Reading 1 book a month is also a new goal I set for myself. Thank you Jay Shetty for having amazing people like Vishen Lakhiani on the podcast.

Great for YOU!!😄 I wish that I had come across wonderful people like these much earlier in my life. So much wonderful, usable WISDOM from wise people/teachers. I love to read books…it takes me away from the world in a way that nothing else does, like tv, movies etc. Good brain food. 😊❤ Much luck to you!

I encourage everyone to read about the life of prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). At the very least, please read the last sermon he gave just before he died. Very powerful and moving. ❤ to all
