You know what's funny about Dr Fate's speed? For this calculation they used the size of our universe, but the DC universe is up to 1 Billion times larger than ours, meaning Dr Fate should actually be way faster than where they put him here, meaning his speed edge is actually much higher.

DC universe is only estimated 1 billion times larger than our own but it might be even bigger. in reverse flash vs goku black it stated that a DC universe expands over 60,000 light years pee half of a second. meaning way betond 1 billion in size. Day also has other universes bigger than others. darkseids own universe in 4th world has a 4 billion year headstart on the main DC universe. this means it expanded way beyond the regular verse.

Fun fact about that crash scene in Doctor Strange. It is real. They REALLY crashed that car. Marvel called up that car company and asked for a car they could crash horribly and almost kill their main character. And the company said "Sure, in fact, take FOUR of them" And they got FOUR of those super cars. So, they just actually crashed one. The company was asked why they agreed to put one of their products in that situation, and a representative said "Well, Stephen Strange survived." Which is a good point, if THAT happens and you survive, that must be a pretty good car. They only had one stipulation, and that was since they work really hard to make their cars very safe, Marvel couldn't make it the car's fault Strange crashed. So they made it very clear Strange himself was entirely at fault. So yeah, that car ACTUALLY crashed and everything you see in that scene is 100% real. Obviously Benedict wasn't INSIDE the car at the time, but the crash is real regardless. So yeah, well built car to not just be a scrap cube, huh?

7:57 "He was born in the 30s?" Original canon, yes. Remember how Tony Stark was captured in Afghanistan in the movies? In the original comics, it happened in Vietnam. The movies put the characters in a more modern setting. The exception is always Captain America, as his origin is tightly linked to his use as a propaganda tool in WWII. Even in the comics when they do a reboot they still have cap frozen in ice.

With Captain America being frozen in ice, the writers have a convenient way to suspend his life for as long as they need to - he is intrincically tied to WWII, and with the frozen-in-ice trick, they don't need to explain how someone from that time is still alive. For a character who doesn't have such an out.. Look at Magneto. His story doesn't work without him being a holocaust survivor, and so the writers are constantly struggling with the fact that he should be well into his eighties by now. They handwave it by way of 'anti-aging treatments', but it really is one of the cheapest ways to go about it.

8:05 "How do you fight for 5,000 years?" We don't know how long Strange fought Dormammu in the movie, since that was a time loop. Strange could have been fighting him for years, slowly getting better as a sorcerer. Kinda like Goku in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. If the fate of the world is at stake, true heroes will fight for as long as it takes.

The stripper Dr. Fate was a joke character in the R-rated animated movie Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay (2018). - Spoilers for anyone that wants to watch it eventually: - - - Basically, Nabu was desperate and grabbed the first person he could find that had an affinity for the Mystic Arts, who just happened to be a stripper this time. He actually did a good job for a minute, but the guy was a tool/d-bag who loved to party on the side. After a night of drinking and debauchery, the stripper bragged about being Dr. Fate and took his latest hookup to the Tower of Fate. The hook-up turned out to be a spy/mercenary sent to steal an important item (the Mcguffin that the whole was actually the movie is about) from the Tower. So Nabu got fed up, fired the stripper, and eventually found a more worthy champion to become Dr. Fate. There's a scene in the movie wherein the stripper ex-fate meets up with the Suicide Squad and recounts his story to the Suicide Squad, the judgment from them was hilarious.

I find it hilarious that you asked if there would be Segata and Chuck, literally 2 seconds after they left the screen. XD The Eye of Agamotto in the comics canon isn’t an infinity stone, that’s something they only did for the movies to help tie things together. Likewise, the tesseract/cosmic cube isn’t the space stone, and the aether isn’t the reality stone, they are their own separate things in the original comics. You seem to be conflating Dr. Strange’s immortality with perfect immortality, as in he can’t die from anything. It’s just immortality in the sense of “eternal youth,” he’ll never age to death. He can definitely be killed or overpowered by someone. One could theoretically take this death battle as their biggest curbstomp in history when taking certain factoids at face value. After all, the Lords of Order and Chaos have power over “the infinite multiverse,” and Dr. Fate’s fusion form puts him above them all, meaning greater than infinity. Strange can equal the gods of Marvel, on a good day, while Fate can Best his gods. Also hey, that comic caption stated the Helmet of Fate reached “the velocity of God,” but still took a year to make that universal trip. Meanwhile Darkseid made the same trip in seconds, so the New God of Evil (all hail Darkseid) is incomprehensibly faster than the big G God. XD Then there’s any Flash, who could essentially exist in all states of space and time simultaneously… yeah, you’re not supposed to think about these characters too hard. XD The original writing staff sure as hell didn’t. You have some really REALLY good fights coming up. Both Ryu vs Jin and Gundam vs Optimus Prime are some of my absolute favorites!

Just because there are multiple Doctor Fates dosen't mean that the previous ones died. Anyone who wears the helmet becomes Doctor Fate and so those different versions are just inside it.

In Death Battle, if you can run a thousand iterations of a fight and one of the characters only wins five hundred and one of those fights then that character gets selected as the winner. And this is one of those really close ones.

The Ancient One is an old Asian male in the comics, animated movies, and most other mediums. The MCU made the character female because they landed Tilda Swinton and wanted her in the movie. There's actually some minor backlash for genderbending and racebending the character, resulting in less representation-the latter was said to be done to "avoid stereotypes" but it's really just because the comic version of Ancient One is from Tibet which is a touchy subject for the Chinese government (so, politics). Marvel tried to explain it away, but Kevin Feige eventually decided to just take the L on that one. At least Tilda did a good job.

Fun fact: There’s a canonical fusion of these two characters. There was a storyline in the comics that created an amalgam universe where it fused two different heroes like Spider-boy who was Spider-Man and super boy or Dark Claw who was wolverine and Batman. Dr Strangefate was the strongest fusion in this universe. Look up Dr Strangefate.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe takes a lot of liberties when adapting characters from the comics. Also, to answer some questions... .) In Marvel Comics, the Illuminati actually refer to a group of characters, rather than what we normally understand the illuminati to be. .) Adam Warlock is actually one of the main characters of the ORIGINAL Infinity Gauntlet storyline from the original comics, who was pretty much completley left out from the MCU. .) I am pretty sure that Doctor Strange has never used even a single Infinity Stone in any of the Comics... .) The "immortality" of Doctor Strange refers more to the fact that he is agless rather than him being unkillable... Doctor Strange very much can be killed, it is just very hard to do. .) Much like there were multiple Doctor Fate, there have also been multiple Sorcerer Supremes similar to Doctor Strange (for example, the Ancient One was the Sorcerer Supreme before Doctor Strange became the new Sorcerer Supreme). As for the outcome of this Death Battle, i would agree with the point that either one of them could have won. Both Doctor Strange and Doctor Fate are either as powerful or as weak as the writers need them to be... so the argument could be made for either one of them to win... however, i would disagree in saying that Doctor Fate is the "more likely" winner... there are some Doctor Strange feats that easily put him on par with Doctor Fate, so the outcome would be much more of a coin toss between them.

I am not a comic nerd, but I am quite certain that most of the former Doctor Fate's gave up the power to live a normal life. Fun Fact: In Young Justice, Kent Nelson had given up the Helmet years ago and was an old man when he finally died. The heroes Kid Flash, Aqualad, and Zatanna all briefly wear the helmet, and the current host of Doctor Fate is Zatanna's father Zatara. I remember seeing a very sad scene that reveals that Zatanna is only allowed to see her father for one hour each year.

Fun Fact: in the amalgam universe, doctor strange and Doctor Fate were fused into one being. Also with the brain of Charles Xavier from the X-Men mixed in, they created a whole new character known as Dr. Strangefate.

Once you reach Mario vs Sonic, the 100 episode of Death Battle, you should react to "Introducing Wiz & Boomstick... finally" along with Mario vs Sonic. Because the preview at Daredevil vs Nightwing shows only a bit of their reveal for a few seconds and the introduction video is only like 2 or 3 minutes.

the mario vs sonic is rematch. it was I believe the 100th death battle in which they also began a new setup. we no longer just heard wiz and boomstick...we saw them (and not the voice actors), we'd see into the db studio as they talk with humor and visiual gags (also animated)

I mostly know them by Story "Planet Hulk" and sequel "World War Hulk". The first one is about how Illuminati came to conclusion, that Hulk is to big threat on Earth. So the tranquilized and put him on Spaceship, the plan was to send him on peaceful planet where he can live in Harmony, but Hulk waked up earlier than planed, and started smashing ship, which caused to change course and made Hulk fall to a Wormhole that send him to a Different planet in different part of Galaxy, where Hulk became Gladiator and later a Chosen One and The King of Planet Sakaar. In Sequel, The same Spaceship from elier apparently had a Nuke inside, and than exploded for some reason, and killed many innocent lives on Sakkar. Hulk came to a conclusion, that this was Illuminati's plan all along, so send him far in space and than kill Hulk. So Hulk gathered survivors of Sakkar on another Spaceship to go back to Earth and declare War on Illuminati. Other than that, Half of MCU Movie "Thor: Ragnarok" is basically "Planet Hulk" Story, but Thor is in it, and Movie focuses on Thor's Story, not Hulk's. Which is a shame, because Movie Version of Planet Hulk would be awesome 10:50 - *Fun Fact about Superman:* Superman's other weaknes than Kryptonite, is Magic.

Regarding what you said about possibly playing Kingdom Hearts, I think it's a series everyone should play. I mean, sure, it won't be as much of a nostalgia trip for you as there are various Disney movies that you said you've never seen, but the combat is really fun, and at the very least, you'll recognize some of the Final Fantasy characters. The whole series is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, so you should have no problem getting into it if you want to. Also, it's my personal favorite game series ever (tied with Smash Bros), so... yeah...

every spell has a time limit, it will only last so long & same spell can't be used back to back, over & over, there is a limit to that too, like a cooldown. So yes they can get alot of power, but for how long & how often

Immortal: ageless. Invincible: cannot be killed. Strange is immortal, but not invincible. I love Dr. Fate. I've always loved when he pops up in shows or video games. He will finally make his film debut next year in "Black Adam", played by Pierce Brosnan, which is perfect casting if I've ever seen it.

Just a couple things, Kent Nelson was the first dr fate, there were no others before him except just Nabu. Second, the eye of agamotto in the comics is not an infinity stone. They just did that in the movie so they could use thanos. This death battle is very accurate as fate would easily overpower strange.

the Illuminati was a team in the comics...and yes it worked like the conspiracy in the real world. it was made up of marvel smartest, and powerfulist leaders. representing a race or a team or a country. it consisted of over the years of dr strange, black bolt, prof x, namor, mr fantastic, black panther, iron man, etc. they worked behind the scenes making pivotal descions. some good...some bad. their worst was deciding to exhile hulk into outer space (which led to planet hulk which was basically gladiator on an alien world with the hulk...thor ragnorok was a lose adaptation but thor replaced hulk, hulk replaced silver surfer storyline wise)....which led to world war hulk (where he returrns to earth to get revenge on the illuminati)

I had made a comment a couple videos back saying that there are characters that make one punch man look like a kid and these two are one of those characters,and to top it all off there are characters that make these two look kids in her own perspective Universe’s.DC and Marvel are just to O.P.

Both these guys would be tough fights for Superman because Kryponians have no special resistance to magic. You'd still have to be able to use the magic before Superman can stop you but both characters especially Fate could manage that.

they're actually even MORE vulnerable to it because kryptonians are natural energy conduits. which means they metabolise and magnify any spell used against them

I guess it depends on what qualifies as an Avenger and what power-ups we're allowing. Well, Iron Man in Godbuster is probably more powerful regardless, but other than that, Strange is stronger than most of the other Avenger bigshots. Silver Surfer at his maximum potential is definitely stronger, but I don't think he'd be considered an Avenger. Worldbreaker Hulk is physically way better, but had to resort to trickery to stop Strange's magic. Glenpool has directly proven more powerful when taking things seriously (though she kind of just solos most of fiction when taking things seriously anyway) but again, not an Avenger. Binary's proven herself against similar power levels, but her inconsistencies when facing them takes her a few notches too far down.. Current King Thor is likely on the same playing field as Strange given his own feats, but I would hesitate to call him more powerful. Yeah, to be honest, it is a good question, the current answer residing as a solid "Maybe?"

Galactus is this absolutely enormous alienin a stupid looking purple helmet. He eats planets like they were Hot Pockets. That's not just referencing his hunger, it's also the scale for how big he is!

Remember, Just because a character wins a death battle. it does not mean the other character cannot beat him. It just means that in a majority situation that character will win. There are ways Dr strange can win. Over all, I agree with the outcome.
