Congrats!!!! Nick you are pretty knowledgeable. I have learned a lot but a lot from your Professional Tutorials. I know that many youngsters or new guys that wanna learn how to rebuild transmission jumps to the disassemble and assemble tutorials. And the secret on be a mediocre rebuilder to a professional rebuilder are the secrets we get from you on how not to get comebacks. It’s sad that people jump to watch assemblies videos instead of how to rebuild the Brain of the transmission that it’s the valve body. You explained pretty good using the vacuum pump wit sonnax tools and parts. Same on the oil pump that it’s the Heart of the transmission. That it’s why many starter rebuilders fail on their first rebuilds. I have rebuilded 18 transmissions since 2019 fort hobby with all of them big success and it’s thanks to you Nick and Hiram Gutierrez and Gary Ferrero. But I always follow their instructions. If you want to be successful on this business you need to pay 110 % attention to rebuild the oil pump and valve body and check it out with the vacuum pump.Watching these amazing videos is my number 1 choice at you tube channel. I am retired I worked 35 years on Rebuilding and managing a fleet truck company and I always was afraid on rebuilding automatic transmissions until I found you guys and you shared your knowledge.Hoping you keep raising subscribers and that is for sure I learn something from your channel every time I watch your videos Nick. Thanks again for your knowledge.BLESS

Congratulations ! I watched your series on the 700R4 rebuild at least twice before I tackled mine, I saved over $1500 on doing it myself with the help of your videos. Your knowledge and ability to explain the assembly is second to none, I would have never tried to rebuild mine without your help. Thanks again and best of luck in your new videos !

Thank you Bobby and great job rebuilding your 700R4 for the first time! In addition to the savings, you now have a skill that will last the rest of your life and never have to depend on anyone else for the transmission.

Congratulations on your subscriber number. I think I know one reason, you have succeeded. You are pretty good. Very knowledgeable, very detail oriented, it’s the details. The small details that can make or break a good build. Like bushings as an example. So many people. Both professionally and the do it yourselfer, overlook them. Or just say to themselves. They will be ok. Then may or may not have a problem they have to figure out. Since I used bushings as an example of importance. For those reading this that don’t know. Bushings do three very important things. 1. Keep everything straight. 2. Seal fluid ( no oil grooves) 3. Direct fluid ( oil grooves) I have watched a lot of videos from people that, probably should have let someone else do the job. And a lot from people that know what they are doing. You sir, know what you are doing.

Thank you for the kind words, Larry! Truer words were never spoken when it comes to the bushings...Great summary of the role they play and how critical they are to the health and well-being of a transmission. Cheers!🍻

Your videos are great man your videos are more educational than anyone else’s I’ve viewed. Between you and transmission bench I’ve started building the 700r and 4l60’s. Major part of my success was your tutorials on the valve body and pump assembly. The importance of vacuum testing them and making proper repairs to them. Keep it up man I’m using my local salvage yards for parts and education as well.

Nick congrats on your 10k subscribers! Now I want to thank you for your help (info) on my 4L60E in my 2K GMC ! Now It shifts the way it should! SK kit, Sonnax boost valve, removed the plastic pistons, blocked the various valves you suggested, blocked the 3-4 accumulator and shortened the 1-2 accumulator stroke I also installed the fiber check balls! I,m not a young man and I think it would be easier on me if I took the trans out.🤣 I also purchased Corvette servo parts and bought a servo cover depressor for some GM FWD and modified it to work on mine ( ebay) $12.00! Again thanks alot!

You have some of the most awesome videos on Transmission builds very very informative step-by-step and I hate to see the valve body section go away. It’s more important than anything. Just keep stressing to the viewers. How important it is to know that your valve body is functioning properly. Don’t just wash it out and put it back in. I’ve had so many people say I did this I did that but you failed to test your valve body. And that’s why you still have gear failure this also includes the pump section people want to just wash them out and stick the valves back in. and do not visually observe the wear and tear on the item to be serviced remanufactured or rebuilt

I have gotten a few requests for that transmission so will definitely do a whole playlist as soon as the next one comes in for overhaul. That said, the challenge with filming units from later model vehicles is that, often times, the transmission is out of the person's daily driver/only vehicle and filming typically adds 100-200% to the overall TAT. So I need to get someone who isn't super sensitive to turnaround time and will permit me to have the unit for a week or so, which is what i really need to do a comprehensive suite of videos on a given transmission...
