Oscar Mazú survived a near-fatal heart attack that went unnoticed and later agreed to undergo surgery despite the risk of dying in the operating room. Being somewhat experienced regarding death, Mazú narrates what he has been through with a tone of dark comedy, scientific knowledge, and a lot of interviews with the thanatologist Ricardo Péculo, one of the biggest death experts in the world. A search begins around funeral rites and their derivatives.
