I've lived in Thailand for a couple of years. MAMA noodles are absolutely the tastiest noodles I know. I am normally a chicken kind-of-guy. But when it comes to MAMA noodles, pork is my favorite by far!

Nothing even comes close to the flavor and nostalgia of MAMA noodles for me. I think the pork flavor is my overall favorite too!

The reason why the noodles don’t have flavour is because you’re supposed to boil the noodles first, leave a bit of water and then add the packet soup base that gives it more flavour

No way. That would make them way too salty. They are salty enough as it is. Should cook them by adding 300 ml of water to them in a pan, then put just over half of the soup powder in, almost all of the paste, all of the chilli, and then cook them at a high temperature until the water has nearly all evaporated. This is maybe the best way to have these noodles. I just invented it when having them now.

Yeah I usually get them in the pork flavor as well! Definitely the go to flavor, shrimp is just a special occasion type of thing

@@OutletBoyalex Yeah these are a childhood classic for me. Basically grew up eating this when there was no food, or when I was craving it🤣

I grew up with a lot of Laotian friends and we used to use a pot on stove top exclusively, so much better that way. Also, we ran pork all day long and used to add fish sauce, chili flakes, an egg and pork meatballs.. fiiiiiiire!!! We liked to burn!! Lol, great review either way.

Also if ur in the uk you can get this from a shop called Wing yip there is a whole section of instant noodles

Unfortunately, I'm in the US, but we have a lot of asian markets where I live

Don't make these on the stove top. They suck that way. Just as boiling water to the noodles in a bowl with seasoning and base then cover until done.

I've made them both different ways before, and I always prefer cooking the noodles on the stovetop just because I get more flavor out of it. I even showcased it in the different ways you can cook these noodles.

You can buy it at your local Asian grocery store, but I have seen them pop up in gas stations and American grocery stores!

I used to eat the chicken flavor as a snack. Meaning i didn't cook it, I just crushed up the noodles and put the seasoning packet in the bag. 10/10 would recommend as a quick snack.

I am the opposite I don't like overcooked noodles I don't cook them as long .. the Shrimp has a mild and a hotter version ... If you want better buy Sapporo Ichiban my favorite is Miso ... I'm not a big fan of the Sapporo Ichiban, but I heard the actualy restaurant in Japan is a lot better than the packaged ramen!
