Thai FRUIT Dipping SAUCE |For ALL Your Sour Fruit NEEDS นำ้ปลาหวาน
Hi everyone today's video is all about a little known sauce called NAM PLA WAAN which translates to sweet fish sauce, this sauce is amazing with all sour fruits. Chef Tou will be showing us how to make this sauce to balance out the flavour of the sour fruits, creating a textured, chunky sauce that is really bursting with umami flavours, textures, spicy savoury salty comfort. This recipe is very easy and doesn't require too much work. I know this one is a bit different to what you might have tried previously. Be brave.

Here's the recipe:
🟢For the sauce:
10x Thai birds eye chilli sliced
10x Dry roasted birds eye chilli whole
2x Banana shallots sliced
A cup of water
100g Dry shrimp
5x Tbsp fish sauce ( we added an extra one after Tasting)
300g Coconut sugar
🟢 Sour fruit:
Raw Thai sour mango
pineapple
Green apples
As with all Asian cooking this is a rough guide with regards to amounts, adjust for your own taste and spice tolerance.
