I notice you got oil temperature gauge in your oil tank, is it possible that they are made to show oil temperature but also can you check oil level with them ?

Yes you can check the oil level with it too in the same way the OEM one does, you just have to scratch on the max and min lines by copying them across.

Dude hammering those seals or washers is not a good idea - so much could go wrong here. Also not using some sort of protection on the top of the tube destroys those seals/bushings with its sharp edge (use condom for example). Instead of hammering use an electrical tape rounded on the tube (like 5mm thick) and hammer those seals with the tube (there is some guide on the internet how to do it).

I think its a T&T temperature gauge. Im sure its from Motorworks.co.uk

I was wondering what the length of the springs is for the dakar?

I am sorry i have no idea, I hope you have managed to find the correct info else where.

You need to set the SAG (probably need to adjust rear shock to get it correct) before you test ride, otherwise the whole exercise is meaningless🕊
