Such an inventive visual format, I love it! It's inspiring how you consistently strive to reinvent your visuals. Also 6:03 is such a lowkey reference (to one of my thumbnails of all things) I got a kick out of it. Thanks for expanding on a lot of things I wanted to say. Love the video. Something I'd like to add is that, having just stared this game last year, the bad matchmaking and huge team size make it extremely easy to be carried by an mvm overlord who has 6,000 hours on soldier. 5 of 12 out of your team could go afk and you'd still win in this scenario, which makes it really hard to pin down what you're doing wrong in any particular situation. This also makes it difficult to see your improvement because of the huge skill gap in matches. This may just be an issue with pubs, but since it's the most streamlined way, that's the way most people are going to experience it. Edit: I love this new style of video by the way. It's really interesting but also easy to follow.

mvm overlord? I think you mean a comp player with Australiums. Yeah and you're definitely right about the skill gap, but I feel like thats a hard problem to tackle judging by the age of the game. I think TF2 would be worse off if after 10 years most people were around the same skill rather than constant improvement.

This is a growing issue in my personal favourite game, Dirty Bomb. Pubs via the server browser are the main majority way to play the game because casual matchmaking can put you in questionable servers (at least here in Australia it does anyway, probs not in the good ol' US of A), so new players can feel helpless and clueless as vets with 400+ hours take regular dumps on everyone else for laughs, which I'm ashamed to say I do in the least toxic way I possibly can. The playerbase is just too small for much else, including our competitive mode, and until it grows it will be an underappreciated gem of an experience, hounded by flaws out of it's own control for a while. That said, still play it and give it a go, it's got a pretty good community and the game itself is really fun and a unqiue blend of other FPS that make for an experience that can't be pinpointed by any one phrase accurately (eg: it's like quake with cs:go, it's like TF2 with Enemy Territory, etc...)

This video made me hyped to have a kritzkreig because I read it as “taunting with the kritzkrieg will result in 11 heath per second over 4 seconds”

Tf2 is such a great game! You could run around as pyro and get easy kills or you could sneak around with the detonator for a med pick. Pyro might not be the best example of it but tf2 lets you do well if you are bad and do amazing if you are good. That's another reason I love the game, noticing the slight improvement in your play is soooooo adicting.

There are many similarities but overwatch lacks the replayability and spark tf2 seems to have. For example trimping is discovered in tf2 and the dev team adds the tide turner to make it easier, bhop gardens are discovered valve leaves them. While in overwatch the devs remove things like that, in order to make the game competetive they took out a lot of things that made characters more fun.
