Golden need to start sponsoring you. You are such a great brand ambassador for their paints. I want to do some tiny paintings too, but I have struggled for a long time to find brushes that are up to the job. I do have some new tiny brushes now that another YTer mentioned and I have faith I have what I need now. I think I struggle with the paint thickness for small paintings. I don't know if I should add a medium to thin it out, or perhaps I need it thinker. I don't know haha! I don't like when you have a small brush and the paint leaves streaks down the sides of where the brush went and not really down the middle where the brush went. That is what I struggle with for small brushes and need help with I think. I think it means the paint thickness and brush firmness aren't right, I just need to figure out which to fix.

It could be a sign that your brush is overloaded with paint as well. Since they are so small, they just don't hold much and it's easier to overload

I use these for mini painting, they're great. :) The coverage is actually better than most hobby paints intended for mini-painting which I suppose makes sense as the heavy-body paints you mentioned would be way too thick for miniatures.

I like these paintings, my favorite is the rainbow one. I like the idea of painting on small canvases more often so it eliminates the pressure of trying to create a beautiful artwork, and I can just paint for the enjoyment of it.

I've tried the SoFlat against Holbein Acryla Gouache, and, although I adore Golden in general, the SoFlat formula didn't perform as well as I expected. It just doesn't seem to have the opacity and the leveling qualities I felt like something called "SoFlat" should. But I know an artist who LOVES it and has created many beautiful works using it, so definitely my own opinion here. I adore the melancholy floof!

I actually just made a video with these paints. I think you just needed to shake them more because they laid down thick for me. Idk let me know if that worked. 🤗💕 I used the ZING set It might just have been how dark that red was too🤷‍♀️

It was actually the colors I used 😅 The red violet and the cobalt teal and they rate opaque.

I’ve not watched this video yet. I started and stopped. Not because of you or your beautiful Art but because of these amazing paints from golden as soon as I got about 6 of them I couldn’t get anymore the Art shop I buy most of my paint supplies from have not got more stock in two years possibly longer and I’m so very frustrated. The beach picture I sent you a picture was done with golden fluid acrylics. It is very pigmented and a little goes a long way. But you just don't shake it like you do cheap paint or it will bubble. I just turn mine down and up a few times.
